I'd have to give the edge to Valbella, and would eat there again. STARTERS - White asparagus with mozza..seasonal but it never lives up to the hype; Swiss chard salad with Gorgonzola & candied walnuts; Caprese - fantastic and fresh....MAINS - Piedmont steak - red , DO Not get more than med. rare...Cooked perfectly but not flavorful; Whole Bronzino, fork tender; Scalapini martini- tender veal scallopini pan fried and breaded, whit wine sauce, with julienne green beans and whole fingerling potatoes..2nd best on the table. A touch of capers would have made this a total show stopper; Filetto di venison - the best specimen I've ever had. Food was phenomenal, wait staff could not have been more attentive or knowledgeable and atmosphere was excellent. We had a variety of entrees at the table including Seafood, Beef and pasta. Every restaurant makes you wait until everyone in the party is present. However the restaurant manager graciously allowed the 6 of us to sit waiting paitently for the others to arrive. The staff was at our service at all times.
