Every time we have eaten there (3-4 per year), we have discovered unique combos of flavor. This time it was a fig stuffed with bleu cheese wrapped in bacon that was flash deep fried. Not just outstanding for a small town in the Sierra foothills, but outstanding by San Francisco, LA, Chicago standards.
