A word from V Lounge
Pizzaiolo are craftsmen whom dedicated their life to the perfection of pizza. Over the years many of the old school pizzaiolos in New York and beyond retired and /or sold their pizza shops. With their departure, the craft of the pizzaiolo was fading., being replaced by chain pizzerias and minimum wage pizza assembly lines. Our mission is to keep the craft of the pizzaiolo alive. We adhere to the principles of any great pizzaiolo whom laid the ground work before us; to never take shortcuts and to make the pizza the way that it is supposed to be made, and to produce the same type of pizza and flavors that you would get in Naples. To educate the non-foodies of the world and support local farmers whenever possible.

V Lounge is in a bar so the ambiance is not that great. However, the food is top notch. Imaginative and excellently executed appetzers and pizza. Memorable appetzers: bruscetta with prosciutto topped with mango, grilled avocado, cauliflower topped with pesto. Members of my party loved the pizzas: the mushroom, primavera, and chicken special. I can't eat cheese or tomato so I ordered proscuitto, arugala, olives topped with an egg which was surprisingly great. This place us a gourmet winner.

Excellent pizza. Good place to meet up after work for happy hour. Brought children -- was ok, but wouldn't recommend after 7pm.

It's not a great looking place but has good pizza and cheap drinks! It shared space with a bar that gets crowded late Friday and Saturday nights. Other times its open for dinner and good place to go. I have seen groups and dates here.

Little dive bar with great pizza. It's nothing fancy at all, below casual. The pizza is great. Just not a big menu, some other special items.

Do not allow the signs on the door to intimidate or prevent you from entering the lounge. The Margherita and pizza with prosciutto/arugula were excellent. This is a high compliment since eating Napoli pizza at Settebello restaurant. It was a surprisingly pleasant experience for non-drinkers.

  • A nice Italian Meal!

We ate at the V Lounge (strange name for an Italian Restaurant) on a week night and it was quiet. It's big and we were just about the only people there. However, the staff was attentive and the food was excellent, especially the pizza! It was worth the walk over there and we would definitely recommend it for a nice Italian meal!

We found this restaurant as our daughter entered her senior year at University of Hawaii. Wished we would have known about it sooner. This is as close to any pizza you would get in Naples.

  • Hole in the wall Best Pizza!

Wow! no wonder the local paper gives this hard to find bar the 'best pizza' prize more than two years. Very authentic thin crust, but chewy too, that is never found in Hawaii or most cities! The Prima with Prosciutto, truffle oil and a baked raw egg in the center is like a breakfast flavor meal turned up to 11! Awesome. This place is really a bar, so not the best ambience for kids or the faint of heart. But the food is great! Go and have some drinks and meet some locals.
