They had an excellent guitarist and drummer for background music which added a bit of ambiance. The Linguine with Clams was outstanding I highly recommend! The salads were excellent too. My husband loved the Risotto Balls as an appetizer. Neither were my sister or my Mother, as we decided this was the location for our monthly "Date." I had heard that since they changed hands that the food was not as good, but all three of us can contest this is not true! From the blue cheese fries (OMG you have GOT to try these!!!) to the lamb, veal and filet we had....the food was tremendous! Our waiter was very attentive, but not too overbearing; we were in the bar area, so the noise was a bit more than we expected but we were still able to hold a conversation comfortably. We were too early for music...but I've been there before when there was music, and it was great! Uva was recommended by several different people during our time in town. Corkage fee is free on the first bottle, so we were able to bring in a great bottle of wine we had already purchased while tasting around the Valley earlier that day. We had the arancini as a starter, which were phenomenal, shared the gnocchi and ravioli, and finished the meal with the strawberry bread pudding, which was unreal. Meanwhile, there were two local musicians playing live jazz during the meal.
