"I have been here a nuked of times but they need to do something about the noise. It was uncomfortably loud and we had to scream at one anOther to have a conversation during dinner."

"I want to start by complementing the hostess. She was incredibly helpful and allowed us to push back our reservation so we could deal with a mini-crisis that had come up. Our server, on the other hand, was not a high point of our experience. He placed an order for an incorrect appetizer, didn't remove dishes from the table, and suggested a bottle of wine but then brought a more expensive one to the table. The food quality was far below the pricing. Our panzanella had very little bread in it, the duck salami was the only carne anyone at our table enjoyed (out of 4), the bread served with the carne was not toasted, squash sauce pasta was too sweet, and the pizza was undercooked and lacked salt. The broccoli rabe verdure was decent."

"UVA Enoteca never disappoints. The ambiance is fabulous whether at bar or table and the food delicious. The team knows the menu and the wine and is able to make excellent recommendations. It's a wonderful dining experience!"

"The term neighborhood gem gets used a lot, but Uva really does merit the term. The staff, atmosphere, food, and wine are all top notch, and we left feeling pretty great about our choice.

One of the dishes (roast pork loin with kale and carrots) was easily one of the best dishes I've eaten in 10 years living in SF.

The wine list is spectacular. The cocktails are creative (mine had vermouth, prosecco, coconut salt, and mint and it was awesome).

The staff are fun, welcoming, tattooed...and they were playing Joy Division rarities.

So, really, what's not to like?"

"This was my first time to this restaurant. My friend said that she liked it and I was in the mood for Italian food. The atmosphere was welcoming and the wait staff was nice. I had beer and a pizza and the pizza was great! My friend liked her meal as well.
This was a nice dining experience.

"Such a nice restaurant. You can start with the tapas style, with raw meat, veggies dishes and some amazing cheese.
The menu is quite small with a few entrees and a few pizzas. Service is great."
