Her name was Jocelyn (I apologize if I spelled that wrong). We love the food and thank you so much again for assisting with my gluten issues!!! Next trip there, we will be back!

The hostess was very nice and seated us at the outside patio overlooking the Ihilani JW Marriot pool at the back of the hotel. The food was very good from the salad including Ahi Poke, teriyaki steak & chicken, and shrimp tempura. They also had Maki-Sushi which were delicious and most notably the Hawaii Rainbow Roll and Surfing Unagi Roll. My only criticism was the saltiness of the miso soup and the shrimp tempura which was my main reason of eating there. The desert was commendable with a rich chocolate cake and outstanding mixed fruit jello. Overall, although the amount of selection were fair, it was a great choice of buffet than the other more expensive buffet offered in the hotel.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AM
