Upstairs at The StandBest Brunch in NYCYeah, I said it. I've had brunch at dozens of restaurants in NYC and this was the best one. Their chocolate chip cookie dough pancakes smothered w/ chocolate sauce, strawberries, and bananas ruined all food for me. I tried to eat my favorite homemade dinner later that night and was actually depressed because it wasn't these pancakes. The eggs benedict was delicious and I am very picky about my favorite brunch dish. The breakfast tater tots covered with cheddar cheese, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, served with spicy ketchup was likewise delicious. If their pretzel bread pudding with vanilla Amaretto sauce was a man I would leave my husband. I'll definitely be back to this place.
