UpRoot RestaurantSo delicious!I've now been to Uproot on 3 separate occasions and I'm surprised to find the food more and more delicious every time I return. It's pretty pricey (roughly $30 for an entree), which would be my only criticism. So I will likely be reserving this place for more special occasions. The menu is seasonal so it has changed since the first time I went, but you really can't go wrong. If you still have room for dessert at the end of your meal I would definitely suggest the homemade donuts! Actually, make sure you save room for dessert because they're worth it.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMNice variety of very goodNice variety of very good food in a trendy and nice space.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMWe enjoyed our experienceWe enjoyed our experience at UpRoot. The bar has a great vibe, but when seated for dinner we were glad to be in the back room where it is not so loud. The seared sesame tuna in wonton cups and grilled octopus were delicious, and the ribeye with kale was excellent. I would skip the salad next time, though. It was just an expensive bowl of lettuce with not much else. Service was very attentive and pleasant. We'll be back.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, a nice find. The food and service was exceptional. This was a nice find through OpenTable. I do think that is was a little pricey. The short ribs and sea scallops that we ordered were great. The chocolate lava cake was also something to end a nice evening. I say give it a try, you will enjoy the food and atmosphere.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother wonderful eveningAnother wonderful evening at Uproot............Great food and vibe...............Especially love the addition of bands to the venue.............11/24/2012 12:00:00 AMClean, contemporary, upscaleClean, contemporary, upscale dining restaurant.
