Had three martini's each, and felt as if had none - and two of us are known as 'real light weights' when it comes to drinking. Our bill was the only indication that we had drinks from the bar. The food is always terrific and consistent. This last visit we enjoyed the blackened salmon and chicken kabobs. Fabulous. Tuna tacos - amazing. Interesting wine list. Staff are always courteous, pleasant and knowledgable; never intrusive.
The one minor negative is the noise level. While we love the energy, it does make if difficult to converse.

They had a special scallop sashimi market app which was inventive and unusual and tasty. The veggie burger is one of the best I have ever eaten - flavorful, moist, and filling. It even convinced the non-vegetarians in our group. Beer list is inventive and the flight tastings are a deal. Ice cream cones are a fun treat at the end of the night. Our server, sorry I forgot your name, was a sweet woman who was very attentive without being intrusive. We tried the ahi tacos and the broccoli salad to start. Both were had delicious flavors but probably a bit of a smaller portion than we had expected. I tried the whiskey/rye flight and it was great considering that my options were pretty vast. My girlfriend tried their spicy margarita. To her it was a little too spicy and I thought the flavor was a bit too vegetal, likely from too many muddled jalapeños. For entrees my girlfriend had the crab cake which she liked and I had the burger. The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and helpful without being overbearing. They have a decent wine list. I was debating between 2 cabs and the waiter was nice enough to bring me over a tasting if both so I could decide. It was so sweet! I also had a lychee martini there (hard to find and one of my faves) but it was too syrupy sweet. I had the duck meatball ramen--really yummy!! I also tried the roasted corn soup-thick, creamy and very yummy.

My only criticism was when I took my last sip of my delicious pinot to get a mouth full of the dregs of the bottle (not a little...a whole mouth full). I mentioned it to our waitress who was so apologetic and offered me a fresh glass. I couldn't take her up on the offer since I had an hour drive. It's got a nice ambiance and, at least the night we were there, all their bottles of wine were half off which made it easy to order one. Service was legit. Everything was coursed perfectly,and came out as expected, but it did not have much of a personal-vibe at all. Which is good and bad depending how you look at it. On one hand I am there to talk person/people in my party, but on the other hand I still want to feel like I'm not just another table.
In all, I am glad we tried it. There are also great sides and vegetarian options. We've been twice in three days and are already planning the next trip. The service was stellar, but we got the same great waiter both nights so maybe it's just that Clay is awesomeness walking. Everyone else was friendly and welcoming as well, so it's more like this place has a great vibe and that always attracts good staff.
