He had the egg rolls and potato stack and was very impressed. My daughter got her usual Macaroni and cheese and the potato stack and said everything was amazing. My husband got the pork chops and I got the steak salad. The menu always has a variety of wonderful offerings and our palates have never been let down. We also enjoy the great variety of wines. Their Gelato is some of the best that I have ever tasted. The wait staff is very knowledgeable about all the dishes and beverages and they are very attentive to our needs. The owners always give us a warm welcome. Christine and the crew make it a very enjoyable experience each time. We love to get the small plates and share. Some of our favorites are the garlicky shrimp which has a very tasty broth, not too much garlic if you are wondering, the beef bruschetta which is always tasty and the italian egg rolls, which are unbelieveable. They aren't like Chinese egg rolls but instead have mozzarella, basil and tomatoes, and they are on a small serving of fresh pesto. Yum! Uniscali is a gem which is why one needs to reserve early.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMBest place in the Denver area.Uniscali is definitely mine and my wife's favorite date night restaurant, the food is excellent, the people are friendly, and sitting at the chefs bar is a great experience if you are lucky enough to swing it. They have regular tables if you are in the mood for privacy, or a third option of a taller more communal high top table that seats eight. We have met some great people there, and as an added benefit, you get an up close and person look at the food you didn't order.

My husband and I have dined there many times and the food is always outstanding. It is a very small restaurant and very noisy but a fun place to go with friends for the best happy hour prices in town. The Bruschetta with tenderloin is wonderful, as is everything we have tried on the menu. The service is friendly and the owner is always there making sure that everything is running smoothly.
