It can be a bit loud at times but this time seemed less so. The noise level was so hi that we had a hard time hearing each other. That is my only negative that I have.

The only thing that we didn't like was that we had to wait a while for service. It looks like there was only one waitress in our section at the bar and we had to wait probably 15 minutes to be first greeted. However our waitress was excellent and did a great job. The food never disappoints, the wine list is good and the selection of craft beers is fun for the guys. We have yet to meet any memberof the waitstaff who is not friendly and helpfull. This time three of the four of us chose the night's specials. The goat cheese and pecan crusted chicken with a strawberry cream sauce was heavenly and the steak with shrimp dinner got rave reviews as well. The salmon is a favourite of my husband's and he enjoyed it as much this time as on other occasions. Union Social's quality is very consistant and the service is relaxed but top notch. That 's why we return often. Its so loud in there that you can barely hear yourself think. I understand that they were trying to fix that, however based on my visit yesterday.. it hasn't been.
I would also like to request that you add sweet potatoes fries to your menu. I heard people talking about that and it would be a healthier choice for some people.

Most important thing was service - good, nonintrusive, and all meals were brought quickly and at SAME TIME which is a personal pet peeve. No one had to watch their food get cold waiting for the rest to arrive... priceless!
