The staff were attentive and checked to make sure we understood the ordering options. As an added bonus our daughter got to eat for free as we were celebrating her convocation from the U of A. We did not know about this ahead of time, so it was a nice surprise to see it in the menu. We all enjoyed our 3 courses especially the seafood bisque. We were pleasantly surprised with the excellence that we experienced. The food was delicious and the service great. I guess one of the nicest things was that it was quiet enough for us to have a conversation without having to shout. The service was great -- not too present, but never absent. The wine list was very good, and the food even better.
I am celiac and was impressed with how considerate the staff was. Not just that but there were lots of choices that were gluten-free to begin with.

Although on whyte ave the inside makes you feel like you stepped away from the street and in a private little retreat of its own. The only issue I always have is the parking. This year our grown kids joined us for an amazing meal and fun evening to celebrate 25 years!. Everything was delicious! Normally service is fabulous, and for the most part was again. The only issue on this occasion was a bit of a slow start. I believe this had more to do with another group arriving early, so it will not stop us from returning.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AM
