Since the food is all small plates, my husband and I ordered 3 plates to share, and that was enough for a light lunch. The pitchers of sangria I saw all around us looked good. We shared the Cheese board and thought it was yummy. We asked for extra bread and received it with no problem. We also shared the flatbread and the pork tacos. It is a nice place to get wine flights and try different wines but this time we decided to share a bottle. The over all price is a bit costly compared to other places but fun for a once in awhile celebration or to just sit and enjoy a glass of wine with a friend. They also have a very nice selection of appetizers and desserts. Several interesting items on the menu, but not a lot for those of us who are gluten free. The Proseca Float made for an interesting dessert item. The seating was a little delayed, but table was located near the performer as requested. The live music was outstanding! We live about an hour away but we would drive back in a heartbeat. The atmosphere was perfect. Relaxing but still lively enough that it was entertaining. The menu was very appealing and the service was outstanding, I wish we would have eaten lunch there as well! Vonnie was an amazing - personable, friendly. Timing of all food items and wine was very good - and that is so important when dining out. We love the small plates concept as it allows patrons to try a wide variety of foods and also lets the Chef and his staff show their stuff. The wine pairings were very appropriate and we both discovered new "favorite" wines. Beautiful location, comfy. A bit chilly after sunset but the heaters and complimentary blankets solved that problem.. We will definitely return when we are again in LIvermore! This week we had the pleasure of taking some friends who had never been there before.The service, as always, was good and the food exceptional. Love it here!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of the better places toOne of the better places to eat in Livermore, but with new chef on board we definitely missed the homemade potato chips and the food quality was not as good as before. The flat bread pizza dough was too thick and not enough cheese or toppings, food prices seemed high and there seemed to be a lack of diversity on the menu. Still a great place to try flights of wine for reasonable prices. Service remains solid but they are very quick to pick up plates as soon as you put the last piece of food in your mouth. Had the Darcy Kent Gruner which was great with our light bites: we all had the grilled ceasar salad which was delicious as usual! Especially enjoyed the grilled parmesan on top. We also shared the flatbread and had the chocolate carmel torte for dessert. The wine list, being attached to Concannon winery, is superb. The staff is knowledgeable and can give great pairing recommendations. I have been here many times now and am always impressed how great the good is and how friendly the staff is.
