It was my second time and his first time to the restaurant. I feel like this visit was even better than my last visit. We started off with the wedge salad (this is the best wedge I have ever eaten) and the lobster avocado salad. I had the bone in petite New York strip steak and my husband had the rib eye...both were cooked EXACTLY as we asked for them. We shared the creamed spinach and the lager battered onion rings. The sides were good although the broccoli was more stem than floretes. Also, there was no pricing for sides on the menu or given for the specials. The service was friendly and very attentive.

The lobster mac and cheese side dish is the best I've had (firm pasta and plenty of lobster.) Service is second to none with knowledgeable staff making great suggestions and conversation - none of this drop the food and run. The meal was paced perfectly. The best steak I've ever had, the best lobster she's every had. 5 cheese lobster mac and cheese. Our first time and so, so good. The food outstanding, though on the pricey side, but well worth the flight to NYC for my wife's special birthday dinner. The food is excellent, the service is superb & the wine list is so appetizing we've had to walk home! We've already recommended it to 2 couples! As a vegetarian who eats fish & my boyfriend, a carnivore, the only suggestion we would have would be a few more fish options and as a diner who is also gluten free, maybe some cider on tap. We then got say at our table which was right under the kitchen window but still not too bad. We ordered the Kobe meatballs, crab cakes, rib steak for two and the sweet potatoe fries....the food was amazing we have been to every steak house on Long Island and a cpl in the city this by far had the best steak! They could have sat us in an ally behind the restaurant and I still would have been happy the food was that good. The host insisted on buying us dessert for the I inconvenient table position which was also amazing! Food, service, communication before, during, and after my dining experiences has always been exceptional. I love going to the local Bayside restaurant to celebrate family Birthdays, and my special requests (candle in dessert and singing Happy Birthday) has always been met. Although famous for it's steaks, I found the ceaser salad & especially the crab cakes to be amazingly delicious. Any side dishes we have ordered have always been to our liking, and we always take home a "doggy-bag" as the portions are generous! I would easily recommend Uncle Jack's to anyone that asks me. Appetizers were excellent. 3 of us shared the lobster salad, and wanted a crab cake to go with it. The normal order is 2, but you can have 3 for 50% more, so it worked perfectly. Steaks were very good. Service was excellent, wait staff was on top of everything, filling water and wine glasses. It was a bit pricy for Queens1/18/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went to Uncle Jack's SteakhouseWe went to Uncle Jack's Steakhouse on Bell boulevard in Bayside on a Saturday night at 5 p.m. for dinner. It wasn't crowded when we arrived but got progressively busier. The service is excellent, the servers are attentive and knowledgeable. As it was our first visit, we asked for recommendations which our server, Kevin, was only too happy to provide. The food was very good; our only glitch was our broccoli was served cold, but when we mentioned it to Kevin it was immediately rectified. It could get a little loud in there so if romantic is what you are looking for this might not be the place.

Temperature was in the hi 20's to low 30's so I did appreciate the valet parking though we did have to wait maybe 5 minutes. Ive waited longer in San Francisco. They were ready to seat us immediately but the manager asked if we wanted to wait about 3 minutes so we could have a more desirable table. We said sure and after seeing both setting our seating was much more desirable. Service was excellent. We had a very friendly Maitre D', Robin was very friendly, patient, attentive and had a great sense of humor.Long story short the food was excellent but be prepared to spend a pretty penny!
