  • "Love eating here. Service was great food unbelievable as usual. Just was disappointed they ran out of Kobe. Guess everyone was in the mood that day. Guess I have to go back again and again!"

  • "Nothing special. Steak was great but shrimps were over done and baked potato was cold. for what they charge it should be outstanding. Other steakhouses are far better."

  • "I felt that the waiter couldn't wait for us to leave. Very uncomfortable"

  • "We have been to almost every steak house in the greater NYC area, and Uncle Jacks continues to be the best and our favorite. The service, cuts of meat and the rest of the food is consistently great as are the drinks. The staff is engaging, friendly and even cut my daughters steak for her, the server telling my wife and I that it was our night off and it was his pleasure to do it for her."

  • "No matter which uncle jacks we go to, we always come away with the feeling we need to return. While our favorite steak house was uncle jacks on 57th in manhattan, it was such a nice surprise to find bell blvd had : First, a valley Parker, I always tried parking myself Second, while a different ambiance, it was just as nice if not nicer Wait staff was, as in all uncle jacks, the best. We have eaten at others, Frankie and johnnies, Peter Lugers, all should know, the food at uncle jacks is better, the wait staff is 100 times batter, there is a differing ambiance in each uncle jacks( bell blvd is similar to Frankie and johnnies."

  • "Uncle Jack's is right in the heart of the thriving Bell Blvd action in Bayside. If you want a USDA Prime steak, I definitely recommend this place. Very classic steakhouse decor and atmosphere, but a notch or two more lively - not too reserved or stuffy. Maitre'D was the BEST. He made us feel like personal guests. Wait staff was professional. Food was VERY good - no surprises on the meat - and was cooked as ordered! My son and I both had the boneless, dry-aged NY Strip and it was great...probably juicier than most. The only slight disappointment was the Caesar Salad. No parmesan cheese? Huh? Oh well, the rest was A+... Want a steak and you're going to be in or near Bayside? Go and have fun and a great steak at Uncle Jack's!"

  • "Having seen Willie on the Food Network, I had high expectations for Uncle Jack's. Everything exceeded my expectation from the decor, to the bar, to the entire staff, to the food and service. Everything was delicious. The mozzerella melted in your mouth, the caesar salad was perfectly dressed. The steak was excellent and cooked exactly how I asked for it. The sides were great. Dessert was amazing. There was nothing leftover. I will go there again and again."

  • "Excellent ambiance, amazing service, quiet....great setting. Wish the food matched up. Baked clams were soggy, Caeser salad bland. Great portobello salad and sauteed asparagus. My wife enjoyed her red snapper special. I had filet mignon. Meat had the right flavor and was super tender, but it needed a nice salty crust. Son's rack of lamb was too crusty..the panko crust was too much, would have been better done more simply. Waiter did a fine job of matching a glass of wine to my order."

  • "The food and service is awesome. The portion are a little small for the price and although the service is great the "if you enjoy the service" suggested tip of $40 was a little steep for just a party of 2. I had to wonder were they really charging for the "free" dessert they gave for the couples anniversary. I would recommend this place if you want great service and food and have the money to spend."

  • "A fantastic meal and experience at Uncle Jack's Bayside on Saturday. Superb service to go along with outstanding food. Daniel, Nicole, Tracy, and the rest of the staff are so attentive that it is beyond comparison. The main courses for my wife and I were our own version of surf and turf - twin lobster tails and the bone-in ribeye. The steak was cooked to my order of medium rare and the lobster tails just melted in your mouth. Enough to take home for leftovers yesterday. A truly wonderful dining experience and we cannot wait till our next visit!"

  • "Service was great, food was good, but very overpriced."

  • "The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked so if that is a plus. The scene is very good - nice but small bar. The service at the bar could have been better and they seemed understaffed in the dining rm. I wish the food would have come out from the kitchen a little hotter everything was room temp considering our table was 3 steps away from the kitchen. The prices of the wines by the bottle are totally inflated, my brother is in the wine business he was dining with us. You are better off sticking with beer the tap is nice and cold."

  • "We had never been here before, and thought that the food was fantastic. The only "issue" we had (which was really a non-issue) is that the wine prices are astronomical. We're not talking vintage, fine wine - we're talking two glasses of an American Pinot Grigio costing $30. That's just plan ridiculous. However, other than that - the service was great, the food was fantastic, and even the dessert was spectacular, which we were pleasantly surprised about. We would most defiintely recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat themselves until they can't eat anymore. Just make sure to bring $$$$$."

  • "The quality of the food was note equivalent to the price."

  • "This is a great restaurant very close to where I live. Only thing that I was annoyed/disappointed about was that we were seated downstairs. Which has zero ambiance, I made the res thru open table and never expected that we would not be on the main level where we have always been seated. So really even if you make the red thru open table you still need to call them to make sure where you are seated."

  • "My wife took me and our son to Uncle Jacks for my birthday and we a wonderful time. The food was amazing. The service was incredible. All in all a great time. The only draw back at that I could say was the tables are all situated very close to each other. So much to the point where I felt that I was a part of the table next to us. But no place is perfect. I have already recommended Uncle Jacks to people and can not wait to go back."

  • "Not sure what the Hype is. My husband and Son loved their steaks but everything else was average. My Daughter and I had ordered the Chicken Marsala which was good not great. It Did not taste anything like Chicken Marsala it should have been called something else. Also I recommend that they have a few specialty drinks. Not just a wine list. I dont eat steak I I was limited to what I could order. They had some fish dishes. Our waiter was average. We left a nice tip (not because of him) because the other servers were great. Even the Maitre D gave me a refill on my wine. The waiter was so busy talking about himself and his acting career to the other Patrons to realize I needed another drink. Not worth the drive in."

  • "I had a night out with my husband without the kids. Everything was delicious. Service was outstanding. I'm still dreaming about the lobster Mac and cheese with bacon. Can't wait to go back. Waiters r so knowledgable ."

  • "My husband and I went there for New Year's Eve. We were seated promptly and it went downhill from there. We ordered baked clams, and they were inedible, cold, tasteless and may have been reheated in a microwave. We ordered steak for the main course, I had prime rib on the bone and it was tough and fatty. My husband ordered the a NY strip and while it was better than mine, it was too tough. We asked for onion rings and they had run out, they ran out of a lot of menu items. What really shocked us was that they offered a New Year's dinner package as well as specials that our waiter never told us about, we overheard the waiter telling the couple at the next table. Dessert was fine, but it will be awhile before we return."

  • "The aged NY Strip and the crab cake app. was excellent and the service was very good. This place gets packed around dinner time so reservations should be made in advance. Drinks were reasonably priced and the server was knowledgable. My wife and I ordered two sides that we thought came with the meal and ended up paying extra but all in all I definetely would recommend."

  • "We used to go to Morton's or Burton & Doyle, but this is my new steakhouse. The menu is varied and the steaks are amazing. The wait staff is very attentive and pleasant. We went here for Christmas Eve and it was busy but not packed. It is a little pricey but well worth it for the quality of food and the service. There's municipal parking a block away."

  • "Every time we go to Uncle Jacks, we are dazzled. Lamb lollipops, oysters on the half shell, steaks it's all great. The only thing better than the service is the food. If you want to be pampered and satisfied then this is the place for you. I've brought family, friends, co workers and they are all wowed."
    Dined on 12/20/2013
  • "Overall the service was great. The meal was disappointing. The New York Strip(medium rare) was tough and at best room temperature. The steamed broccoli had no flavor and was cold. The sweet potato mash was the best thing on the plate. For dessert we had the chocalate souffle cake(good) and the creme brulee(cold). We won't go back or recommend."

  • "This is my 4th Christmas with my clients at this steak house and every year it just keeps getting better and better. The service staff is by far some of the best i have ever had. The food is very hard to put into words for me it's just "off the hook" is about all i can say and we all had some thing to bring home. Lets not forget the yummies before dinner like crab cakes and my all time favorite baby lamb chops. i dont want to tell to many people because i wont be able to get in!!!"

  • "I love steakhouses! and I'm so glad I decided to check it out. Its a small restaurant but the food was excellent and the service was top notch. I usually frequent Peter Leugers, but the porterhouse and oysters at Uncle Jack's were wonderful. The lobster salad appetizer was one of the best I ever had. The seafood was super fresh and worth the price. we had our staff Xmas party, 7 women, and for us it was a perfect fit. I highly recommend for anyone that loves steaks, and doesn't feel like sitting in a catering hall waiting for an hour to get seated."
