We shared the Marguerita pizza and Caesar salad. The day was quite warm so we didn't want to overeat. The food, ambience, service and location are all excellent. I wish we could have stayed longer; we needed to return to work. I am taking my sister to Umbria when she visits in July. The gnocchi was great. Well cooked and delicious served in a traditional sauce. Very classic dish, no frills, but excellent. The pappardelle with boar was amazing and highly recommended. Great sauce and tender boar with excellent pasta. Pasta is moderately priced in the 20$ range. And extremely worth it.
Overall a great resturant. Very nice staff and an excellent menu. The prices are more expensive for steak and chicken entrees but very reasonable for oysters and pasta. We advised the staff of our schedule and they bent over backwards to get us out in time, without feeling that we were being rushed. Excellent variety of raw bar offerings. The basket of popovers was a nice touch. Dry Aged Coffee Crusted Ribeye was a little pricey at $45, but was cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the bold coffee taste in the rub. Others in our party enjoyed the Lobster Fra Diavolo and Dry Aged Porterhouse. Report on the Squid Ink Pasta dish was that the Mussels and Swordfish were perfect, but the Langostines were slightly overcooked. Desserts were beautifully presented. I enjoyed the sirloin steak I ordered very much and the sides. Although my husband had the seafood linquini and didn't enjoy that as much as I did my steak. We didn't particularly enjoy the wine that our waitress had picked out. But that was our fault as well for oking it. The food was very good. The service was also very good and we did not feel rushed during our lunch. The portions are very large. the steaks are fabulous, but everything is excellent. For those who prefer something other than meat, there are many other fantastic items on the menu.

I have been to this spot several times over the years...and do not remember it as memorable; However, this time I would call it quite memorable! Menu selections had good variety for various tastes and palates...from steak and fish to pasta! Wait staff was very positive and responsive...answered questions and gave good direction. Wine list was very good as well! Took colleagues from work...and felt both comfortably esconced but part of the overall ambiance as well.
