I got the impression this must be a busy spot for locals/friends because the food was less than mediocre and the atmosphere was worse especially since our party of 4 (we had a reservation) was seated at the front door which kept opening and banging shut in our ears, warm wind blowing in our faces every time. I had the crab cakes which were tastless, then the Tag with truffle oil, which I also found mostly tastless. The rest of my family had the special which was prime rib, cooked very poorly and the mashed potatoes which tasted grainy like instant box. The only things that tasted good were the onion rings and the mac w/cheese, Oh, and the wine we got from Vine and brought over (Paso Robles Cab). Not ever returning, sorry.

"
The food and service were outstanding! I went there on a girls' night but I will be back with my husband. The atmosphere was relaxing and the prices were so reasonable. There are so many good restaurants in Houston I rarely want to go back to one but that's not the case here- I will definitely be back!
