  • Good, nothing more.

There was nothing too special about this place. It was good, but nothing more. I did love the fried pickles, especially with the spicy ketchup. I would stick to the burgers and sandwiches here. They try too hard on their "upscale entrees" and it is nothing to brag about. I would stay away from the white sangria...it is mostly juice and tastes way too sweet. It seems like the servers are tasked with too many tables and therefore aren't as attentive as they should be. I would go back but would not go out of my way too.

Unfortunately, it was not a great experience. Ive been here before and had a decent time because the food and drinks were good but this time not only were they underwelming but the waitress was horrible. I know it was Easter but still. She came over a total of 3 times only and that includes to give me and my friends the check..after we asked the busboy for it. Not consistent so not sure if i will return

Amidst scores of Brooklyn spots that are trying too hard with trendy combinations and flavors, Two Door nods to that modern palate without overdoing it. We went there for lunch and enjoyed both the meal and the cheerful, prompt service, and we look forward to going back with friends.

Found this place while searching for a new spot to go to on OpenTable. The atmosphere was nice; it was a little noisy but service was good and the stafff was pleasant. Food was good. We were seated by the fireplace which was nice and cozy. I would definitely go here again and recommend it to friends.

  • Great Brunch!
    OpenTable Diner Since 2010
    Dined on 3/17/2013
I came in with a large group for Sunday Brunch, on St.Patty's (with an advanced reservation, of course) and we were seated right away, even though a few of our party wasn't there yet. We were seated upstairs, in the back by the fireplace and it kept us all nice & toasty. The place has a nice, cozy feel to it, which everyone enjoyed. The service was quick and very attentive. Their brunch menu had plenty of options for everyone and is good deal at $16 for your meal, plus a cocktail/draft and coffee/tea. Everyone in our party really enjoyed their dishes - not a single grumble from anyone about anything, to be honest. Overall, our experience was excellent and we'd all recommend Two Door Tavern. I can't wait to go back!

Nice neighborhood spot. Went for brunch. Food is good but not amazing. Red velvet pancakes were absolutely enormous and it was a bit like eating a cake fresh out of the oven. Nice and dark inside - excellent for brunch when you have a hangover.

  • Not the best brunch.

As a VIP Open table member, my first impression was not good as my group of 4 were seated at a 2 top high bar table for our brunch reservation. The bar stools were uncomfortable and felt unsafe. There were other larger tables open that had 4 place settings, including a table at the higher level where eventually a group of older people would be seated with their posteriers right at our face level. Very appetizing. The drinks were delicious. The food was okay, although our dishes barely fit the table. 3 of us had Benedicts of which one was ordered well done, but they all came out that way. Red velvet pancakes tasted like regular pancakes with food coloring. Our waiter was very pleasant. Will not return next time I visit Brooklyn.

blindly made reservations here for this past new years eve because it was near the williamsburg music hall. i loved my meal and drink but my boyfriend was underwhelmed. i am always a fan of restaurants with bacon wrapped cheese stuffed dates (which the bf thought were weird and gross) and since it was a special occasion i sprung for the steak frite instead of the burger my bf ordred. all in all i went for the fancier meal and was rewarded since my bfs simpler meal fell short of expectations.

This place is great. Been in biilie-burg for awhile and I never went in.. Don't know why. This place is solid.Lobster mac n cheese was on point. BBQ was dripping with flavor. And the fireplace upstairs is such a nice respite from the bustle of Bedford.

  • GF and I came for my birthday.

GF and I came for my birthday. Atmosphere was very nice. It was a rainy Tuesday night, it wasn't dead but a bit sparse, which may have contributed to the slightly overly-attentive service (from 2 servers). Sweet Potato fries were Amazing. Veggie wrap was a hit with gf. My penne vodka was Huge and fantastic. Leftovers just as good the next day. We also had the hummus plate which was surprisingly unique and delicious. "Gatsby" cocktail was excellent, but mostly ice, I think I had 2 sips :( Will recommend, will be back!

We had planned a drink to the Brooklyn Flea and decided to go to a place that would take a reservation than try our luck waiting at Egg. Overall it was good, the wait staff was nice and the red velvet were good. I would go back if I was in the area but it’s not worth the trip alone. I was annoyed that they didn’t mark my reservation and I had to plead my case to get credit.

Great find! We came just by accident on a Wednesday night when they were having their special $5 burgers and $5 brews! What an amazing deal! I would go back for it and it was kind of our of our way; though really easy to get to from Manhattan...just a couple of stops on the L train. Worth the trip! And I hear they have an incredible brunch with a red velvet pancake that I am certainly going back for!! Loved it. Delicious and a great deal!!

I do not understand how do they open places like this The soup was almost water The drinks just ok They don't have mineral sparkling water of any kind The fish and chips mediocre The braised short ribs had no sauce on it and no flavor at all Desserts, they do not have more than cookies and another with banananas, that's it Save time and money Do not go.
