We passed by this place multiple times and always thought it looked good, very appealing and happy looking. My husband and I finally tried it and were very pleased! I don't know a lot about Cuban food, but they had a good menu selection with the usual tostones, maduros, and Cuban sandwiches along with fish (which I had and it was delicious), chicken, and pork options and plenty of rice and beans. Good mojitos, too! We went back a couple weeks later with the family for my husband's birthday. They have a kids' menu and our 10 year old gobbled down his food with pleasure. We will definitely return!

I found this place off Open Table and decided to give it a try. My wife and I were in for an awesome experience an it started at the front door. We were greeted by Ryan who took care of us from start to finish. Very knowledgable about menu options an on point with his recommendations. I had the steak my wife had the chicken. Also had couple plates of the sweet plantains! Music was also good and played some of the oldies I've heard before. Will definitely be back again!

We ordered the Cuban sampler because we are not well versed in Cuban cuissine. It consists of croquetas de jamon, tostones, yuca frita & papas rellenas with garlic aioli dip & mojito sauce. We loved the yuca frita, liked the papas rellenas; the ham croquettes were gummy and did not match up to what we've had in Spain, and the tostones were hard enough that they could not be cut with a fork. My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich and I ordered the lechon asado. Both were good; flavors were outstanding. Still, something was missing. (In my case, I think it was sauce). We wouldn't make a special trip to Woodinville to eat there again. Full bar. Drinks were good.

The twisted Cuban is a very nice restaurant serving authentic Cuban cuisine and drinks. This wasn't my first visit to the Twisted Cuban and it definitely won't be my last. I highly recommend the Maduros appetizer (fried sweet plantains; a favorite of anyone that has tried them)and their shrimp appetizer. For the main entrees you can't go wrong with their Masitas de Puerco (roasted pork tenderloins) and their Ropa Vieja (shredded beef) dishes... And, you won't find a better Mojito anywhere in Washington (I know I've searched!). The Twisted Cuban is definitely worth a visit, be adventurous and try something you've never had before... No matter what you order your will not be disappointed.

After many experiences living in Florida to enjoy great cuban food, I was excited to try out Twisted CUBAN for the first time. The menu is what you would expect and the food itself was good. My only negative was the price! For a party of four, including 8 & 4 year old girls, my bill before tip & without any alcohol was $72. Mojo pork, cuban sandwich, sweet plantain appetizer and two kids meals. I needed to add french fries to my kid's meals that were not included, and those were $5 each. Good meal but I guess you are going to pay due to supply & demand in the NW. I'd go back, but without kids.

We accidently discovered the Twisted Cuban on the way back from wine and liquor tastings in Woodinville. The food was excellent, service very good, and the owner/host engaging and knowledgeable. All four of us really enjoyed the entire experience. We will be back!

If you want something different from the gazillions of restaurants serving pancakes at 2:00 in the afternoon? come to twisted Cuban. The Lechon Asado is delicious. The cocktails are fun. I love the Caribbean feel to the decor. If you do eat pancakes for every meal, don't come here.

We enjoyed the different flavors and textures. We will definitely go back but not on a beautiful, warm Friday night. The salad with meat was very good. I enjoyed the roast pork. The portions are large.

The food was excellent! Tostones with the Garlic sauce and the Ropa Vieja. I was supposed to bring the left overs home to my husband, but it never made it home :). My daughter had the Roast Pork with Moros and I did not have to force her to eat her lunch for once. I'm so glad there is real Cuban food so close by, I miss it. The atmosphere is really nice, and cozy. If they are busy, I recommend making reservations. They do have out door dining, but so far it has been to cold for me to want to be outside.

We were really looking forward to dining here.We made reservations and decided to eat here on a Saturday night. A little surprised when we arrived that there weren't as many people as I expected there to be. Exceptionally slow service. A VERY attentive busser who really wanted to keep us hydrated with excessive water turned out to be the highlight of the evening. Drinks took at least 15 minutes. Food was bland. Really BLAND. Not bad - almost good even - but BLAND. Waiter was clearly inexperienced, but he didn't seem to be the only problem. Not sure if it was the owner or the general manager who stood at the door in a tshirt and jeans most of the night playing host. Not impressive. AT ALL. We won't be back.

We were looking forward to trying something new. The restaurant is nice and clean. The staff are friendly. Our bus boy was overzealous as he kept trying to take our plates before we finished. Combination appetizer plate was very good, drinks were good, but really strong. I was disappointed in the dinner. We asked our waitress for a recommendation. She loved the Masitas due Puerco Fritas. It was very, very, very salty. The red onions were soggy. The meat was hard, very burnt. I know it's supposed to be fried but it was overdone. The flan was good, not too sweet. I asked to see the manager. He never did see us. He was outside arranging chairs and tables. I think we'll try some place else.

A really wonderful menu with a nice variety of choices in size of portions (full dinners to a sandwich or small plates) and a good range of prices. Great looking place with a choice of booths and tables. It has fun decor, and is warm and inviting.Everything was spiced well, flavorful but not too much so that it overpowered the food. We will definitely come back!
