A word from Twin Oaks Country Inn
Twin Oaks Country Inn is a charming, casual restaurant and Banquet facility located in Wilmot, Wisconsin in a 123 Year old Victorian House. With foodstuffs and locally grown products in addition to meats, fish and vegetables brought fresh from the markets in Chicago, the menu is an ever evolving list of decades of tried and true recipes as well as innovative new flavors. An award winning wine list and well rounded variety of spirits certainly appeals to all. Attention to detail is a priority with an emphasis on personal attention. It truly is Kenosha Counties Best Kept Secret.Continued

Diner Reviews
  • "My husband and I have been going to Twin Oaks for our anniversary every year for the past 18 years. We like the variety of entrees on the menu and have never had a bad meal. Entrees are generous. We rarely order dessert at other restaurants but always save room for dessert at Twin Oaks! Creme brulee....mmmmm! Oh and you have to try the potato leek soup too!"

  • "Twin oaks opened 22 years ago and I was one of the first employees at the age of 15. The food has always been great. Haven't been there in years and oh my god I question myself as why I don't eat there more often, just so good. Will visit more often thank you Richard and all the great staff."

  • "Have eaten here many times when in Southern Wisconsin. Never disappointed. Great food in a place so small it is hard to find on a map. We have never been disappointed and the menu specials are always worth trying. This time two couples each shared a prime rib dinner and the staff and kitchen did a great job in splitting the plates. Soups are wonderful. Svickova is very good but served with pasta and not dumplings as in a true Czech restaurant.(minor complaint)."

  • "We stumbled on this spot when we were out for a drive, used the OpenTable App to find someplace close for a meal. What a hidden gem this place it. The food was delicious. We loved the atmosphere, walls adorned with local artist paintings for sale. Our server was pleasant and suggested a perfect glass of wine to pair with our dinner. We will definitely return here."

  • "Have been going there occasionally for the past 2 years. Small but friendly bar, and quaint restaurant with Victorian tones. The food is always good and the service is prompt and friendly"

  • "We have been to Twin Oaks several times and it never disappoints me. The food is always Amazing and plentiful. There are not many restaurants I will go to anymore but this one is well worth the drive. I just hope they are able to keep it up because food and service like they give seems to be a thing of the past. Thank you for making birthdays, anniversaries, and just a date night so special."

  • "We had a great time. We visited twice once a party of six and again with a party of five. Everything was perfect. Friendly courteous staff, the food was fantastic. a truly great experience. I would recommend to my friends."

  • "Great food with special sauces that complement the entrees. Large portions."

  • "We have dined at Twin Oaks a number of times (5+), however, on this visit we found that salads are no longer included with the meal. This really bumped the ticket up and for 5 people the bill with tip was $200 (grandparents each had a glass of wine, the balance of beverage was Pepsi). We probably won't return because of this large bump in pricing. Too bad because we really do like Twin Oaks, just not that much."

  • "Twin Oaks delivered again. The seafood selection was unbelievable, I went with the halibut and it was awesome and the portion was HUGE! My husband ordered the beef wellington which was one of the best we ever had. Will be back for sure!!"

  • "Expensive but great food as always! We had our wedding reception in the banquet hall here and try to get back once a year. The food and service is fantastic but we were very disappointed to learn that they no longer are accepting the restaurant.com gift cards ($25 off a purchase of $50 or more). Unfortunately over $50 for dinner for our budget is too steep, so don't know if we'll be able to return."

  • "I've been to Twin Oaks a handful of times now and the food and service has never disappointed. I had a good sized rib-eye and it was cooked perfectly, medium-rare with a nice charred crust. The only thing I can offer as a negative is that the entrees aren't served with soup or salad. "

  • "I don't think the hostess checked "open table" reservations, because she did not have my name written down nor a table set up....but that was taken care of quickly. The staff overall were very friendly. Our server was great! The few times we have been here the food has been awesome! (have had filet x2 as well as salmon and seafood dishes). The menu is a little pricey but worth it."

  • "Great place for dinner. We meet our friends here for dinner every 6 weeks. They live just over the border so this is our half way mark."

  • "Food was good, don't get me wrong; however, the prices seemed a bit high. I didn't realize it was a la carte style meaning no soup or salad with even the most pricey entrees."

  • "Have enjoyed eating at Twin Oaks several times over the past several years. I am a boater at the Chain. My boating group has enjoyed the food and ambience very much. Also brought family members on occasion and they enjoyed the restaurant also."

  • "Our waitress was outstanding. Food was delicious. Homemade bread is really good. Bar tender was very personable and knew how to pour a drink. After dinner we sat at the bar for an after dinner drink and the owner's wife talked to us about our experience. She was very nice. We are planning on going back."

  • "Beautiful restaurant--old, large home converted. Very warm, comforting atmosphere. Wait staff was attentive but not intrusive, and they were very nice and respectful. Food was delicious. I loved their specialty bottles of wine. Great find for us--we'll be back!"

  • "We have been to Twin Oaks a few times. The food is always exceptional, and servers pleasant and capable. The home-like, attractive atmosphere adds to the dining event. We don't use the bar so can't comment on that aspect. I recommended it to friends the next night after our most recent experience."
