  • "Whenever in the area, we go to Twin City Grill. We cannot get walleye in Boston, need to get it here! Fresh tartar sauce is amazing."

  • "Service extremely slow. Food was only adequate for the price. No plans to return"

  • "Our server was okay but not especially friendly. We asked about the beer selection because we hadn't heard of most of them and he was a little snotty in his reply that we obviously weren't from MN or else we would know. We had the bacon wrapped scallops as an appetizer. They were good but very greasy. I had a salad with steak and blue cheese dressing and it was ok but way too heavy on the dressing and there was very little steak in it. My husband had the steak tacos and he said they were just ok in that they tasted ok but the presentation was not good. It looked like a giant glob of food with not much color. If we are going to pay that much for dinner we expect a better meal. We will not be returning."

  • "Let me first say that we are frequent diners at TCG and typically love the ambiance, although it can be quite loud. We also are really enjoying the more recent menu changes. However, had the steak sandwich for the first time - poor quality, tough meat. Very few french fries included and heavy with seasoning. The rolls are fabulous, though - and we were not asked if we wanted anymore like we usually are. Children's meals little pricey."

  • "After a long day of shopping at the mall, I am so glad to have made a reservation to this restaurant. We were able to walk in and be seated right away. The entire family was starving! :) The main reason I chose this restaurant was for the filet on the kids menu. My kids love filet mignon and I was happy to find something other than chicken strips. The filet was excellent. My husband had the bone-in rib eye and it was fantastic. I had the turkey platter with the stuffing and mashed potatoes and it was to die for. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want something different than mall food. The food is EXCELLENT!"

  • "Great find in a mall, excellent food/drink, great atmosphere, sit in the back and you won't know you're in the MOA. Server was great, noise was so-so. Will definitely be going back again, I could care less if any other part of the mall were involved!"

  • "My husband and I chose to eat at Twin City Grill for our date day because it had great reviews on a gluten-free website. Twin City Grill has a comprehensive gluten-free menu, complete with buns and cake! The buns weren't great, but it is so nice that they offer them. It's nice to have the option to have a bun on your burger once in a while! The dessert was to die for! Drinks were mixed stiff, and the staff was wonderful. We will definitely be going back again!"

  • "I was less than impressed with the food and service. The food was greasy and the waitress wasn't very nice either. Definitely not worth the money. We ordered fish, it was drenched in butter and came with one side for $25...not worth it!"

  • "We were out for lunch, and have heard good things about Twin Cities Grill. Not only was the food delicious, but our server (Nathan) was fantastic. We did not feel rushed, and his timing/delivery was great. He was knowledgeable about the menu and made some great recommendations. The meatloaf sliders were terrific...and the 'state-fair style' cheese curds tasted fresher at TCG than they do at the fair! I have to say, our server gave us the best service we've received anywhere in possibly a few years. He is the reason we will return."

  • "Food was good, Pan seared almond crusted walleye lived up to billing. Portion size just right. Made a reservation and walked right in and sat down, perfect for the chaos happening in the MOA. Four way split of the Hot fudge/brownie sunday hit the spot. Staff very friendly and accomadating."

  • "This is a good location to meet people at MOA, but the food was nothing to rave about this time around. While the portion was generous, my chicken entree salad seriously lacked chicken, especially for the price charged. Roll quality needs improvement - or skip them."

  • "The food was quite good. the salt and vinegar fries were tasty. the waitress was awkward like she hadn't been trained. There was 5 of us and the waitress tried to take my friends drink order twice because she forgot she already asked her once. When she came back to take our order we were not ready and then she never came back to see if we were ready. finally after about 10min she looked at us strangely and we flagged her down. she said she was waiting for US to tell her we were ready. she checked on us once after we got our food. then we denied dessert and she brought us our bill. we sat there and talked for about any hour and they never even refilled our water. not what i expect when i pay $25 for lunch"

  • "I love this restaurant! There food is excellent and they have a really good gluten-free selection. They have a wide variety of food to choose from, but my personal favorite is their hamburger on a gluten-free bun."

  • "We had a great dinner experience! Our service was fantastic. Our server did an awesome job and the food was amazing. The mac and cheese was of course, the best part of the dinner! Thank You so much!"

  • "We have been eating at Twin City Grill since it opened. Never have I had a sub par meal. I usually order the bacon wrapped sirloin and it's one of the best steaks in the city! On this night it was burned on the bottom and the meat was stringy and tough. My husband had the sirloin tips and they were also tough and stringy. Something has definitely changed. Probably won't be back for awhile."

  • "Great meals for older kids. Ours ate the filet, and the fish & chips. Loved it!!! The adult's food was great too."

  • "Dined here several times and have never had a bad experience. Food is always great, service attentive without being over bearing. Treat people dining with children like regular guests, not sticking them in a back corner by the kitchen door like they do at Crave! My 12 year old daughter summed up the atmosphere best when she said, "it doesn't feel like we are in a mall here. It feels like one of those cool older restaurants we ate at in Chicago"."

  • "Food was great. Noise levels were high; difficult to have conversation. Definitely a popular place that night. It was pretty crowded. Will definitely go again to see if it's a different experience next time."

  • "The only issue I had was that we had an 11:30 reservation on a Sunday (opening time). I had made the reservation 2 weeks in advance and we were greeted with "we have your table ready for you". I couldn't believe that we were seated at the table in front of the KITCHEN DOOR. Really.............We did get to pick another table but the hostess seemed a little "put out" that we wanted to move and we were a group of 5."

  • "Excited for our whole family to be together to celebrate birthdays! Called to ask for a "round" table for 8, to facilitate conversational ease. Woman I spoke with not pleasant, said round tables seat 7. I assured her we'd be fine. She agreed, but said we "wouldn't like it". When we arrived, they had two square tables set for us. We tried to explain to the manager, & he, with much grumbling :-(, reset one table as a 'round', assuring us WE WOULD NOT LIKE IT. He would not smile, nor acknowledge my thanks. Soon, our GREAT waiter, PHIL, came to help us. He made our evening wonderfully pleasant, joking, laughing, & joining in our fun, as he did his job, with much excellence! Great, delicious food! Great service by PHIL! :-)"

  • "Food was good, as always and service was great. Host staff was inconsistent and one was definitely rude while others were very pleasant. Noise level was very loud as we were seated near several large (8+) groups."

  • "I was impressed with the food: I had a bad Long Island tea, and I couldn't get it swapped for something I liked. I liked the food, but I would pass on drinks unless you know you like what you're ordering. I had a nice meal, but with the drinks, $60 was a bit much since the drink was pretty expensive."

  • "Far exceeded my expectations for a mall restaurant. The BBQ chicken salad was exceptional and we loved the uber thin crust on the roasted mushroom pizza- more like a Parmesan crisp but delicious. Highly recommend!"

  • "ALWAYS A FAVORITE FOR OUR FAMILY! I COULD HAVE CHOSEN TO TAKE MY FRIEND FOR BRAZIL ANYWHERE ON MONDAY EVENING BUT CHOOSE TWIN CITY GRILL. WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN HAPPY WITH THE FOOD AND THE SERVICE. WE DO MISS THE FRESH ONION BREAD!!!"

  • "We had a reservation and wanted to be in the front portion of the restaurant but were placed in a tight bench/table in the back. My food was cold. We had a coupon that we were reminded could not be used after 4:00 pm. This exception was in the small print which I thought was misleading. Overall I would not drive from Edina to Mall of America to dine at the Twin City Grill."
    Dined on 2/15/2014
  • "The food, service, reservation all were excellent. The table was small and too close to other diners. It felt like there were extra tables added for more diners...lost the high rating for an intimate dinner for two."

  • "Went for a nice holiday meal and had a very enjoyable time. The waiter was very nice and friendly, and the food was very good. The noise level was a little loud but didn't ruin the experience."

  • "Our food was not prepared very well. Our burger was hardly medium rare, when we requested well done. The chopped salad flavors were over powered by the blue cheese. I felt that the quality of food recieved didn't justify the price of our bill nor a reservation."
