  • "The Twigs lunch offerings ranged from casual sandwiches and fries to elegant entrees. Portions were large and everyone opted for a box to take their leftovers. The gluten-free menu was extensive and varied, and all foods were done to perfection. I will definitely go back!"

  • "Noisy, felt rushed, martini's were very good. Food was nicely presented and tasted good, but didn't stand out as great. I was impressed with their gluten free menu, which I would return for. Not a restaurant to relax and talk over a martini and a meal."

  • "The food is great! Love the cocktail menu as well!"

  • "I'd give Twigs an A+ for attentive (but not smothering) staff service, atmosphere and being nice and noisy (fun). Unfortunately, my Spicy Red Curry entree was so heavily covered in the curry sauce, it was difficult to find the mushrooms and peppers. Had I not poked the one of the prawns early on with a fork, it would have been impossible to tell that it had the tail on, which would have made for a fun etiquette challenge if I put it in my mouth, unawares. My date ordered the Pepper Salmon, which looked pretty good. He didn't comment on it, and I didn't try any, so can't speak to how it tasted. I had some sort of berry martini that was a fun color, and tasted good. Would probably recommend this place for drinks and snacks."

  • "Great for early evening dinning and light menu. A little too noisy for visiting for us oldsters. Great service with a very friendly and on the ball waitress. Out of town guests enjoyed the restaurant as well."

  • "We were there for our Anniversary dinner. Food was excellent -- we had the stuffed mushroom caps - served hot with excellent flavor and delicious cheese. The salads were very fresh, quite large, and not overly dressed. My prawn and salmon linguini was full of flavor, served hot with lots of shrimp and hunks of salmon that were cooked nicely - not overdone. The hints of lemon and interaction with the capers was delightful! My wife had the pepper salmon and it was beautifully plated and cooked just right. Flavor was fresh and numerous spice notes in the sauce and salsa. The bread pudding was outstanding - light, tasty, hot, and generous. And the drunken donuts excellent. Easy to overlook the fast food style feel of the dining area."

  • "I met the girls there for bookclub and it had great ambiance. Be patient for parking as it's at Bridgeport Village, but they do have a garage in the back in necessary. The food was great and Martini's were excellent. Would definitely go back."

  • "We visited on a busy Saturday night and were told by our waiter that they were training a new bartender in the bar and to not expect good drinks. Well he was right, we sent back a total of 5 drinks between the 4 of us in the group. They call themselves a martini bar yet cannot make martinis. The waiter was nice enough to keep sending then back tell the were right but they still were not right, we just settled. We like loud fun places but this place was so loud you can't even hear yourself think, let alone talk to someone across the table without screaming. Probably will never ever return here. Good was good but not worth the prices and other experiences listed above."

  • "Twig's has a tasty and varied gluten-free menu. My only suggestion is to buy a new pizza oven as the current one breaks down way too much. How disappointing to be all set for delicious gluten free pizza and learn the oven is down yet again!"

  • "Don't know if I would rate Twigs excellent in any one category, but it is nice, the food is good and we had a good time. Maybe not a "goto" restaurant all the time as a favorite in our rotation, but we'll go back and can recommend it to friends. Didn't try the martinis... Our server was excellent and made for an enjoyable evening."

  • "Good place for happy hour. Great service but seats around the front window (door side) lacks ambiance that is present in other part of the restaurant."

  • "Pizza oven broke so 1/3 menu not available. I had a very good 1/2 a Beet and Pear Salad. 2 square cold croissants were served with the salad on request and these were so. I understand the soups that accompanied the entrees were very good. They were generous portions. Entrees were very large and easily could be split. They should offer smaller plates, or 1/2 portions...waste of food. I had a cosmopolitan at this martini bar and it was just ok. Service was very good. Nice fireplace feature. Lots of young people on this Saturday early evening."

  • "Came here with a large group of ladies after I tried on wedding dresses at Bridal Exclusives. I couldn't believe the large amount of martinis/cocktails, and the Strawberry Basil Lemonade was so good (and refreshing)! The food was tasty as well, especially the Drunken Donuts!"

  • "I went to Twigs for the first time Saturday night, and took a new date. The staff provided excellent service, making sure we got a good table, providing attentive service without hovering. The food selection was good, and the quality of the entrees totally met our expectations. Definitely will return."

  • "We had tasty gf food on valentine's day, and couldn't believe how good the bread was. Also, they don't skimp on drinks. My pomegranate margarita was excellent."

  • "Loved the drink menu -I think it would given the Cheesecake Factory a run for its money! The pineapple mojito was the best mojito I've ever had. Truffle pasta was great, though the beef was tough; it was a large helping, though, so still worth the money. I'll most likely go back, if only for the great drinks, and possibly to try their happy hour."

  • "We were very impressed, would definately come back and we will be. We have told tons of people about this place. Great Happy Hour menu, loved the multiple kind of martini's, food was outstanding."

  • "Taking my 88 year old mother to dinner in a wheelchair by myself is never easy, but Twigs made it a easy and a memorable night! I had indicated wheelchair accessible table when making my reservation and they had the very first table set up with a chair removed so I could easily push her right up to the table, giving her a nice view of the outdoor fire pit. Dinner came with in 10 minutes. Our waiter brewed my mother a fresh pot of decaf, twice! When it came to dessert, he even brought her extra cherries on the side. The entire experience could not have been better."

  • "I went there after work. I ordered a drink and the calamari and tacos off the happy hour menu. The drink was reasonably priced but the calamari was cold and not cooked right. I sent it back. To their credit, they did take it off the bill.. Parking is difficult so I had to valet park."

  • "Twigs offers the best gluten free menu I tasted along with great service in terrific setting! My friends and I will make this our restaurant of choice."

  • "Instead of having a favorite food at this restaurant like I have at most restaurants, I am content to most often try something new. Everything I have had here has been wonderful. Every once in a while I go back to a previous great meal, but usually I go with a new food. Even foods that I have loved at other restaurants are special here because of the seasonings."

  • "Twigs is an excellent place to "Meet & Greet" friends and/or loved ones. The "Laid Back" atmosphere, great food along with unobtrusive wait staff makes this restaurant a favorite. Not too noisy and not too quiet, but just right for conversing and dining. The Pork Oso-buco is to die for and a staple item every time we dine there."

  • "I've visited Twigs now for dinner on a Friday night (packed out, maybe get reservations) & lunch on a Sunday (not crowded at all). Both times I was impressed with the staff & the food. The interior is beautiful with a gorgeous fireplace in the center. In the summer apparently they have nice outdoor seating & huge windows they open for the restaurant. A must try is their signature fries & add the fondue with gorgonzola, it was amazing! Also, for dessert the drunken donuts are unusual & delicious. :)"

  • "Despite the excellent choices of menu offerings, the prices were EXTREMELY high for the quality of food that was served. A chicken curry dish had less than 1/4 cup chicken and cost $19.00! BBQ chicken salad was OK, however for a $14.00 salad, I was expecting real chicken rather than 'ficken' (fake chicken - YUCK.). I also found it quite shoddy that we were charged for additional crostini with the crab dip appetizer. If you're willing to pay the comparable El Gaucho prices for a nice meal, stick to El Gaucho where the quality of food is worth it."

  • "The menu is not long and you know you will be limited by what the chef and the local farmers have to offer. But, do they do a job with what they offer! From a very thick and tasty winter squash soup to a nice snapper with Jerusalem artichokes (they use a different name), but mostly to a pork dish that is like a soul food borrowed from Italy and prepared so delicately with a magnificent combination of spices it was all wonderful. Then the gratis dessert of the evening was a unique combination of a Chai -flavored pudding with crispy strips of ginger that just topped off the evening. A truly unique and local treasure."

  • "At most of my favorite restaurants, I find a favorite thing that I often reorder. No so at Twigs. I am almost always working my way through the menu. This isn't because I haven't found a favorite thing; it's because almost every time I am there I find a new favorite thing. Their use of herbs is wonderful. Each time I choose something, I am so pleased, that it inspires me to always choose another new thing. Some day I may find that I've tried everything on their menu and I'll get to go back and repeat some other favorites."

  • "We had three different lunches, and all were excellent. Well prepared, and looked great on the plate. They seem to work for slightly different flavors, and it works. I love their bold use of herbs."

  • "Settled in the midst of a trendy suburban mall, Twigs was our daughter's choice for her 40th birthday dinner. She discovered it online and felt the ambience and menu would be perfect. She was absolutely correct. We appreciated the dual sized portions which allowed us to not overeat and yet fully experience a delicious meal. The wine was reasonably priced and a wonderful pairing with our meals. Salads were crisp and flavorful. Our daughter selected an exquisite martini which she felt rivaled any that she had tasted in Washington, DC, where she dines out frequently. While the restaurant is listed as casual, the lighting and décor made our dining experience seem truly special. The service by William, our waiter, was attentive and perfect."
