Twelve RestaurantGreat FoodThe food and service were incredible. The chef is doing some amazing out of the box dishes that were just delicious. A definite must if you love food.6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMnot much to look at from thenot much to look at from the outside, but inside it is a gem. everything was excellent. the service was top notch, and it's one of those places that has character. I will be back.6/10/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a Gem!Twelve was recommended to me and I highly recommend to others. The dining experience was excellent! I will return.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMExceptionalGreat time at Twelve -- fantastic food and service at a reasonable price, hard to beat. Definitely worth a try!5/28/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food!I'd been to Twelve several years ago, but only once. Kinda forgot about it. It was fabulous, and I'm telling all my friends. It is a true LoDo gem!5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat dining experienceI attended a large birthday dinner for a friend at Twelve. I had not been there before. Everything was delicious, the waiter was very knowledgeable about the food and the wine list and the space is definitely cool. It is surrond by 20 something bars so the location is a bit odd but I would go back in a minute. Only complaint is that they could have used some mood music.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMNever DisappointedWe always have a great meal at Twelve. Fresh, seasonal ingredients with a innovative twist. Even the "standbys" change. Can't wait for the June menu!5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMDelightfulI totally enjoyed my meal at 12 Restaurants. Our waiter Justin was wonderful. The food, outstanding.
This restaurant could become one of my favorites.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMLove the trioBest food ever. Most flavorful dishes no matter what u order.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMA special placeThe service is always gracious without being invasive. The wine list is selective, rather than exhaustive. Some wonderful half bottles and all tuned for the food. We had the "May" menu. The $38 prix fixe deal is the best high end dining deal in Denver. We tried the asparagus soup, the kale 2 ways, the chicken, the duck 2 ways, pain perdu and ricotta cake. As always, the meat was delicious. But what continues to amaze us is Chef Osaka's hand with vegetables. The core of each is maintained while there are always unusual touches in seasoning and texture. This food is absolutely worth the weekend prices, but the prix fixe allows those of us trying to be more budget conscious to still have a wonderful dining experience.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMPretty good, but that's it.They change their menu every month, hence the name 12. Maybe we got a bad month, but the food was just not there. It was good, but didn't leave me saying, dang that was mind blowing good food. The service was great and I have heard really good reviews, maybe we will try again next month.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMIt's as if you go throughIt's as if you go through a transformation as you enter Twelve. To walk through the door and see a beautifully designed space, was so inviting. This is a wonderful restaurant - all the way around. From the staff, to the presentation of the dishes, the food itself, and the feeling of the room - I loved it! The menu changes monthly, so a wonderful reason to keep coming back. The prixe fixe menu is a great way to taste many things, without being overstuffed. The wait staff was incredibly patient and helpful. I highly recommend Twelve4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMWe really enjoyed both theWe really enjoyed both the food and the service! Great variation of flavors on the menu. All well executed in the individual dishes. Will go back next month to try the next menu!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMGlorious!Another absolutely delightful evening at Twelve.
The staff is remarkably well-versed, knowledgable, friendly, and more than willing to take the time to explain each menu selection and potential wine pairing without ever appearing rushed or hurried. Impeccable service!
The food is consistently excellent and shockingly tasty. For April, both the lamb dish and the scallops are flawlessly executed and incredible. And who knew I could love carrot soup? Wow!
This is easily my favorite Denver restaurant, and no other is even close. I'm already eagerly anticipating my next visit to Twelve!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing food!We had a party of 8 and since there's only 6 appetizers and 6 entrees on the menu we sampled just about everything. It was all delicious. We had my 2 kids with us, 7 and 10 years old and they loved everything too. (though they are foodies and not mac and cheese, hot dog kids )The carrot soup was amazing and the waiter even brought 2 small cups out for my kids to have some in addition to their appetizer. The scallops were cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. Service was great. The waiter was very attentive to all of our needs.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat restaurant. The servingsGreat restaurant. The servings are not large, but certainly left feeling satisfied. Give yourself enough time to find parking. There is a lot across the street for $5, but it was almost full and we didn't notice it first time around.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved it!Excellent all around. The April menu was spectacular as we HIGHLY enjoyed our meal. Carrot soup was unique and superb. My scallops were some of the best I've ever had, in which the thin slices of smoky duck atop each piece pulled out a surprising sweetness from the scallops. The fiancé's sea bass was fabulous - the flavorful sausage was an innovative combination with the fish. The pain perdu was a deliciously dense bread pudding and arrived with a delightful housemade ice cream. YUMMERS. Memorable and absolutely recommended! Well-dressed clientele, with more mature folks in the early part of dinner service until 7:30PM. Outstanding service by Justin and staff (friendly, great timing, never went thirsty).4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMCh, ch, ch, ch, Changes.Dining @ Twelve can be a fabulous or just great, depending on the month. What I mean is that since the menu changes monthly, what you get this month might suit you better or less so than last month or next month. While this may mean that a dish you loved last month is no longer available, maybe something new this month will tickle your taste buds. I see and taste the drawbacks of this approach, but on the whole I applaud the chef's spirit of adventure. It keeps the kitchen fresh and excited about their job and the diners on their toes. Nouveau cuisine, monthly.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother wonderful meal withAnother wonderful meal with stellar service here. It was blissfully quiet on Easter Eve and we nearly had the place to ourselves. The staff was fun, attentive, filled with recommendations and knowledge and made our already fantastic meals an even better dining experience.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother delicious meal atAnother delicious meal at Twelve!! Menu changes every month and we never miss a month. We were there on Wednesday and they were busy busy busy - not at all the undiscovered gem we started with a couple years ago. The waiter was great with the wine advice. Had the seared tuna with chimichurri sauce. Small and quaint seats maybe 40 or so. Definitely a keeper!3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food. Relaxing atmosphere.Great food. Relaxing atmosphere. Outstanding service.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMService and food were great! We had a great dinner.Service and timing of courses was great. We had the three course Prix-Fixe dinner. The watercress and tuna dishes were outstanding. Ihad the strip loin with wilted spinach and duck fat potatoes which was good but not memorable (and underseasoned). My husband had the pork belly and grits which he was very happy with and for dessert I had the key lime panna cotta which was just, meh. My husband had the pain perdu which was HUGE and delicious. I was a little surprised by our bar tab. $12 was the least expensive glass of wine, not terrible. But the $10 bottle of beer, really?3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThe restaurant, staff, andThe restaurant, staff, and food were all wonderful. Our waiter overheard us toasting our anniversary and gave us complimentary wine with our dinner. It was a lovely touch and made the experience wonderful. We love that they select, as much as possible, local, sustainable and organic food.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMTwelve never disappoints.Twelve never disappoints. Great food and service. I have never been disappointed with the food, service, or atmosphere. I brought a date for Valentines day and we had a very nice time. The pork was spectacular, and I love the dessert options here. Thanks for providing excellent food and service!2/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Anniversary DinnerThe waiter was very knowledgable about the winelist, and even rejected a bottle of wine he brought us because he didn't think it was up to par. With the rotating menu, always something new to try. The prefixe seemed like a pretty reasonable price, and the dishes were unique and fresh. The place is small (in a good way), though our table did feel a little bit in the way of traffic.1/30/2013 12:00:00 AM
