Totally worth it!Spectacular dining experience. Everything from the food to the service was great. Certainly will teturn.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMUpscale with a viewFood, as usual, is excellent. Menu, however, is not extensive. No steak for meat eaters. Mongoliam veal chop quite tasty, although a little bit fatty. Fish dishes are excellent. Portions are a bit small, no need for doggy bags here. $25 corkage a bit steep. And they automatically add a 20% gratuity to your check, which is new. View is quite scenic and has a nice atmosphere. I will return.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMwe have eaten here severalwe have eaten here several times. we had some special friends in town so we took them there. the food is alway tops. our server joselyn was just great and the place was packed!. we will be back4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent choice..Excellent meal and superior service. GUILLERM. M. ALEMAN4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of the most beautifulOne of the most beautiful restaurants in Miami. Service was Impeccable, the food was amazing. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed. I recommend the tasting menu.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat view, good $$$ foodWe went for dinner at Tuyo for the first time. We ordered a couple of small plates/appetizers, the conch chowder and a beet salad. The conch chowder was delicious! Foie gras was alright. Beet salad was good. It is pricey, overall.
Since Tuyo is located on top of the Culinary Institute of Miami, we had a lovely view of the Miami skyline that night.3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMFood and service was excellent.Food and service was excellent. The view is beautiful. I'd definitely like to return to this restaurant. I have just one suggestion: I discovered this restaurant via ads in programs for shows at the Arsht center so they obviously are hoping for some pre-show diners. We arrived a little before 6 (opening time) and clearly indicated we had the show at 8. We left the restaurant at 7:30 thinking we'd be ok; but with a slight delay with valet and some traffic from the Arena we arrived just as theater doors closed and had to be shut out for the first 12 minutes of the show. Perhaps they could be more aware to get theatergoers out in time and a 5:30 opening would maybe help.3/1/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous DinnerMy wife and I had a fabulous dinner choosing the tasting menu which we normally tend to avoid.
The food is comparable to any fine dining establishment in the world re: London, Paris, NYC. Though some may find it expensive, the quality and presentation of all their courses were excellent. Our sincere compliments to the management and staff for executing such a wonderful experience.2/22/2013 12:00:00 AMa lovely relaxing mealQuite a lovely evening out in Miami -- The evening view is nice (ask for a window seat if you can), and we sat leisurly through our meal - no sense at all of being rushed out. The champagne cocktail w/ginger was delightful and the yellowtail was excellent! We opted for the cheeses with candied nuts, jam, and crackers instead of dessert and it was all quite tasty. I would recommend this highly, esp. unique in Miami not to feel rushed out and to have a quiet place to have a conversation. Valet parking is a plus.2/21/2013 12:00:00 AMHidden Gem and is good for the masswhat a fantastic find in the middle of downtown Miami you can find a gourmet food refuge like this, the gods are smiling on us. The food and servic eis outstaning, but the view really takes it over the topp!1/24/2013 12:00:00 AMfirst time. really liked it.first time. really liked it. wonderful ambience. warm welcome and service. very nice food. great view. a little pricey. limited salad selections. excellent quality..12/21/2012 12:00:00 AM
