A word from Tutti Matti
Tutti Matti serves traditional, authentic Tuscan cuisine, prepared using only fresh seasonal ingredients.
Everything is made in house, including our fresh breads and pastas. Some dishes are permanent productions of our kitchen — gnudi, pinci, papardelle, tagliatelle. Others are more seasonal, like stuffed zucchini flowers in the summers and polpetta and hearty soups in the winter. From day one, we have served venison, wild boar, fennel pork sausage and we love to produce delectable trays of antipasto, which change seasonally and daily (sometimes even mid‐service!)

  • "I was so impressed the first time that we came back. This time, the food was a let down. The pork special with porchetta and sausage was so disappointing. The sausage was salty and the porchetta was nothing but lard!! The fish special was bland and the potion quite small as a main dish. Given the past experience maybe it was an off night. We'll give them another chance but just one."

The entire menu here speaks of fresh flavours,lovingly prepared and graciously served. If you are tired of the same old repeated Italian menu,come here to experience Italian cuisine at its highest level of expression. Both the menu and the wine list are carefully limited and curated and reflect the chef's passion to make everything as perfect ,as possible. However,if you are looking for a Caprese salad in February,along with pasta and clams in red sauce,this is not the spot for you."

  • "Decided to try out Tutti Matti for our Anniversary and it did not disappoint. Started with the Toscano (antipasta board) which had an excellent array of choices. We also tried a daily special appetizer which was fantastic (Crostini with pork, figs and cheese if I recall). The pasta are homemade and are very good, though portions a bit small (though more then enough for us by that point). we tried the Pinci which was recommend and excellent and then the Pear Ravioli which was good. Dessert we tried the Bombolone which was ok, though I suggest they serve it with gelato (for that price). We ordered gelato to go with it and it was better that way. Overall, the food was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed it."

  • "Although I had read the reviews, I was still a little skeptical on Tutti Matti. Fortunately, my skepticism was incorrect. We truly enjoyed our dining experience. Servers were very attentive, and knowledgable on the menu. The food was excellent and tasty. Would definitely recommend this place to our friends."

  • "Our group of 5 was able to sample almost half of the items on the menu, and we were all amazed at the authenticity of this fine Tuscan resto. The presentation of the inventive menu items was excellent, and only the best and freshest ingredients were used. The service was attentive and professional. My favourites: the porchetta in tuna sauce, the white anchovies in pesto, the octopus and pork belly, the venison and of course, the famous hand rolled pinci with wild boar ragu. When you're at this place, you can sense immediately that everyone there, be they staff or customers, are there for the love of the food and wonderful ambience. Bravo, Tutti Matti!"

  • "Before a Leaf Hockey game on a Saturday night, my buddy and I went here cause we know from previous dining it is always good. The server was unrushed as it was 6 pm and the place not very busy. We shared an antipasti which was clever, abundant and tasty. For mains we had pasta , which is reasonable fresh and home made. The mains were too expensive for us to consider. Everything went well and the serve even ventured out to the chilled night to fetch us a cab. How more Manhattan can you get than that. Go there..you won't be disappointed."

  • "We made reservations for last weekend, and when we were seated, the host explained the different items on the menu. We had him make platters for the four of us to sample many of the appetizers and first courses, and selected our own second courses. It was such a great experience and the food was so authentic and our guests enjoyed it immensely. Will be going back."

  • "A very energetic dining experience with couples enjoying themselves privately in the very bustling dining room. The food was excellently prepared and presented. The pork belly is highly recommended as part of their special appetizer platter. The lamb shoulder with sweet bread and the pappardelle with the pulled brisket were both excellent main courses. They have a Chianti from the Ama winery that is well worth the price and hard to find."

  • "There isn't enough great things to say about this restaurant. From the service (which is A++) to the food/ wine (Grappa too!). The owner/head chef spends a lot of time in Southern Italy and you can taste it reflected in her menu. It's always adventurous and absolutely delicious. Practically everything in Tutti Matti is scratch made, in-house. Ask them about their ingredients and they happily share with you how they make it and what inspired the dish. The menu changes seasonally to accommodate their fresh, scratch-made menu. Their wine list is wonderful, featuring fantastic Italians amongst many others. Their servers are all wonderful and help you select great plates with wines to accompany. Order their Homemade Biscotti Plate for dessert!"

  • "I have had lunch here several times and is great value for quality. However having dinner here was the opposite. Double the price for half the food left me hungry and astounded. $120 when we shared our apatizer and desert! My short ribs had 6 super thin slices of potatoe for the carb, it felt like a large apatizer. The apatizer we shared was more like half a salad. If we both had a 3 course meal this would have run us $200 easy."

  • "Went for winterlicious. Appetizer and entre were very good, but dessert (crostata, frutti di bosco) was not. Super market frozen department grade. What was disappointing was the service. We got in and the waiter just stayed put, at the distance, looking at us, bewildered. We had to approach him and tell him we had a reservation. After that, no offer to take our coats (as we saw the female waitress do to other customers), and in general service was frosty. Not going back, specially in non-winterlicious season, as this restaurant is fairly pricey."

  • "One of my favourite spots in the area but I've always had issues with service. It's slow, which I'm ok with given the small kitchen team and quality of the food, but I've found the wait staff to be inattentive and rude from time to time. Portions can be small too depending on what you order, a few of my friends ordered the halibut and it was quite small. Overall, still worth a visit, don't think you'll find a Tuscan dining experience like this anywhere else in the city."

  • "Loved our experience here for Winterlicious! Food was amazing. You should go. The only issue was that we felt a bit rushed. For a 3 course dinner we were in and out in under an hour. I know it was winterlicious, and they're probably trying to turn over the tables - but would have been nice to linger a few minutes between dishes. We've been here before and haven't had that experience, so I'm going to chalk it up to the discounted menu"

  • "I went here with my girlfriend and we ordered 2 different pastas. They were so awesome! Appetizer was also great and mouth-watering. We went there at 5 pm and it was pretty quiet so it's a great place to eat and chat. The waitress who served us was very kind.   • "We've just returned from a spectacular trip to Italy and I can say that our meal was as tasty and well-prepared as any we ate there. Though we've been to Tutti Matti many times, each visit is a unique, delectable experience. Chef Alida Solomon keeps the menu alive by introducing seasonal, fresh, and locally-available foods. The antipasti of buffalo mozzarella, chestnuts and king oyster mushrooms was melt- in-the-mouth tasty. We each tried a different pasta and loved them. Dessert? Salted caramel ice cream! The restaurant was packed, bustling, a bit noisy but service was attentive. Chef Alida is right up there!"

  • "We selected the restaurant based on location, menu and reputation. It did not disappoint. We had a fabulous evening. We were made welcome and never felt rushed. We had a few individuals with food allergies and other concerns. The staff took it all in their stride. The chef explained how she could customize some of the plates to suit our needs. Everyone felt like they were being treated as a special guest. It felt like we were in a family kitchen and treated as such. Can't wait to go back."

  • "I went there for lunch with my co-workers to celebrate the holiday seasons. I sat facing the open kitchen and so I was able to catch a glimpse of the action in there the whole time. I've ordered the prix fixe 3 course lunch. The soup was just a little bit too salty, but it's perfect for bread dipping. My main was a roasted pig and it was great! As for the dessert, I was a bit disappointed as they've run out of it, and so they've substituted it with just vanilla ice-cream. But overall I really enjoyed my lunch and I will definitely go back again!"

  • "I laugh out loud if someone says let's eat and somebody says I know a neighbourhood gem. Come on folks- if you want to eat what kind of tangent is it to discuss " hot spot" or "good for groups" or "great for brunch"? Sort of like if you want to buy headphones- recent survey found that for majority of people the determinant was brand. Not sound quality, not fit but brand. I don't frequent that world much. Should you, please feel free to make up whatever marketing tools you need. And, frankly, is this is test? I have been there once. Please note I am smiling. If you are looking for something else than seafood or steak this is the place. And there is nearby parking."
