Diner Reviews
  • "We especially liked the service here- very professional and up to any task- the food was quite good and probably the best in Claremont- excellent wine list - we recommend this restaurant- and we are from SF where the eats are yummy!"

  • "We dined at Tutti Mangia for an early celebration of my birthday. Our server was Lisa Ray and she remembered us from a previous visit, which made us feel very special. We have never been disappointed at Tutti Mangia and it is one of the first places we think of when we have an occasion to celebrate."

  • "Enjoyed a lovely dinner with friends. Two had the veal chop special, one had Linguine Fini with shrimp & scallops and one had lasagna which is made with the trimmings of the prime steaks. They were all delicious!"

  • "A small restaurant in a quaint part of town with a quiet, classy atmosphere perfect for romantic dining. The hostess was pleasant and customer focused. The server had an expert knowledge of the menu and ingredients, and was attentive, personable and helpful with suggestions. The owner visited us 3 times during the evening. Every item was outstanding - The "Margatini" cocktail was a surprisingly delicious mix of margarita and martini. The Prosciutto e Burrata appetizer had the most exquisite prosciutto we have ever tasted. The Insalata alla Griglia salad had a flavorful grilled taste. The Mafaldini pasta was very smooth with a very light sauce. The Wagyu beef had a great flavor and was so tender it melted in your mouth. Amazing experience!"

  • "It's been years since I've been here and the return visit was better than I had remembered it. I won't wait years to return."

  • "Food was excellent and waiter was very helpful with selections of menu items. Only issue with evening was I thought it took a little to long for entries to come out of kitchen. However they were well worth the wait."

  • "This was the third time we'd had a special get-together at Tutti Mangia. Usually the service is terrific and the food is wonderful. This time the server seemed rushed and the kitchen seemed off its game. Two of our pasta dishes came out lukewarm and two pork chops were overcooked and dry. While the couple waited for another set of pork chops a server offered a bowl of soup, which was kind because the rest of the group was eating."

  • "Tutti Mangia is a great for a good Italian meal. The chef is really at the top of his game. The specials are always great, so the regular menu isn't always what we go to...still a great menu. The wines are excellent and suggestions are very accurate for your particular meal or personal taste. Looking forward to our next visit...."

  • "I go to Tutti every year for my birthday. Everything I've ever tried on the menu has been delicious. Filet mignon-outstanding, butternut squash ravioli- to die for, dessert-vanilla gelato with fresh berries too good! I could go on and on! If you haven't been to Tutti you are missing out."

  • "Great place with amazing food. They have a special four course Valentine's Day menu that is delicious and fun, albeit not cheap. Because it was Valentine's Day it was pretty crowded and thus a little noisy. But even with the high demand the service was good and I never felt pressured to finish and make space for the next couple. I definitely recommend this place to people who want a delicious, romantic dinner and are willing to spend a little extra for high quality food."

  • "We have been wanting to try Tutti Mangia for over a year. We finally found the opportunity. It was bustling because it was Valentine's weekend. There was a special 4-course menu or you could order off the regular menu. The choices were plentiful and delicious. The Duckhorn wine was fantastic! We were absolutely stuffed when leaving. We did see a picketer out front protesting but we just ignored him and his sign. The service was relaxing and non-rushing I would go back and bring friends. Great experience!"

  • "My sister lives in Long Beach and I in Lake Arrowhead. A few tears back Tutti Mangia became our meeting place for our February and September birthday lunches. We both love the restaurant and the tradition. The food is excellent, and the service is some of the best."

  • "Perfect for our anniversary dinner. We started in the bar attending the weekly wine tasting. We really liked one bottle and were disappointed to find that we couldn't buy that to have with our dinner. Our dinners of Chioppino and Osso Bucco were delicious along with a shared green salad. Dessert was a pumpkin panna cotta. The service was great although it took a little too long for our entrees to be delivered. Highly recommend."

  • "The experience was ok, we chose your restaurant to celebrate our 38th anniversary. The food took quite a long time to come out, I think that is why the steak was not hot and the mashed potatoes were also just warm. I am sorry to say, that experience is not what I expected."

  • "I planned to take my wife alone to Tutti Mangia for her birthday but was pleased when 4 more friends agreed to come along. From the moment we came in and met a knowledgeable, helpful, and entertaining bartender to the time we finished our dessert, the staff and management never missed a step. We placed our wine order based on a recommendation and taste from the bartender who found an incredible gem. Our appetizer came with the assistance of the waiter who absolutely made us feel like we were part of his family. Perfect pairing to the wine, and surely not by acciodent. The meal choices were varied and my osso buco was incomparable. Everyone else was equally pleased. In fact, we were all marvelously impressed. Wonderful experience."

  • "Our party of three enjoyed a terrific meal at Tutti Mangia! The service was top-notch, and the food was delicious. We recently moved back to Claremont & had last been to Tutti Mangia 4-5 years ago. It was great then and certainly remains so today!"

  • "First customers Sunday evening, but the second customers (a larger group) to arrive was seated immediately next to us; the restaurant was out of ingredients for the first two salads we selected; delivered luke warm lasagna that when returned for heating came back to us dried out and barely edible; and during the entire meal staff, including the manager, was fixed on watching the play off game and not waiting on customers. This is the second bad experience in a row that we have had at Tutti Mangia, and we will continue to explore other options in the area for more consistent (and better) food and service."

  • "For a small college town like the Claremont Colleges, TuttuMangia is one of the few to none, that can provide a fine dining experience in the Inland Empire. My Wagyu was overcooked, but the pear martini, good service, and excellent company that I was dining with overshadowed any small error on the part of the chef. We have had several large family and group functions here and they always do an excellent job."

  • "The service is friendly and accommodating, food is wonderful. The octopus, and the chef's special soups are a must to order and you can't go wrong with any of the fish special, but someone in the group must order the filet mignon."

  • "Tutti is truly the best restaurant for miles and miles. Food is fresh fun and amazing. Service is phenomenal. Drinks are great, wine list is amazing. I had the osso buco which was fork tender and full of flavor. The rest of the table had some pasta dishes that were cooked just al dente and had wonderful sauces. My dad had the Cioppino which he loved. This is a must try place when you're anywhere near Claremont."

  • "It had been a few years since we went to TM, and when we went back the food was even better than it was before. That's saying a lot. But, the prices were equal to the quality (My wife, my daughter and I--$200). If you want a special night with special food and you're willing to splurge, go to Tutti Mangia. Great!"

  • "The food was excellent! The service was excellent. Just watch out for the wine that you are being served. I ordered a 2009 Duckhorn - Pinot Noir and the server brought us a 2010. I sent the server to see the manager and he said it was the same price!Same thing happend the 2nd time we ordered a different wine bottle. Wine aficionados will understand that different labels and years carry a comparable price. Generally, if its great wine (Duckhorn) the older the bottle, the higher the price. I don't mind paying the listed price, but make sure you (the restaurant) have the bottle listed on the menu. If you don't have it, tell me and tell me what your price for the alternate bottle should be. Don't sell me something you don't have."

  • "Food and service were good, but not what I expected. Seems to be a touristy spot, even more so than in Italy. Waiter said their food was authentic Italy, but seemed more American than my recent visit to Italy. It was VERY LOUD and Noisy in the restaurant which made it difficult to enjoy. Not the best, but not the worst. Only OK."
