Tuscarora Mill, the cornerstone of Market Station, has been serving fine food & wine to its guests since 1985. Originally an operating grain mill, Tuscarora Mill has maintained the rustic interior & charm of the mill. Chef Patrick Dinh’s seasonal menus use the freshest of local produce. Signature dishes include Sesame Roasted Salmon, Roasted Lamb Chops & Portuguese-style Rockfish.   • "We went here for my birthday meal and had a good time. We shared some small and medium plates, and then got entrees. The goat cheese ravioli is really good! I had the lamb shank for my entree and it was very tender and fell off the bone; I do feel, however, that it could have been a bit more flavorful. Luckily I like the taste of lamb meat! I had a flight of beers, which was fun. Others had the strawberry basil mojito. They also had no problem with the fact that we brought in a growler of some home-brewed beer. They brought glasses out for it and kept it cold. I would go back here again."

  • "This was a beautiful night out for my then boyfriend now fiance! I suprised him with dinner and friends he countered me with our engagement with a little help from friends! The setting was beautiful and now we will always ha e a special place to come and celebrate our beginning! Also it was so sweet to sit down and see "Happy Birthday" ar the top of the menus! Thank You for that added touch!"

  • "All of our appetizers and entrees were excellent, as was the bread pudding for dessert. Our waitress did seem a little overwhelmed and it took a while to get served at first. The main dining area has interesting decor but is very dark. The area we were in was much brighter but also very loud."

  • " Lunch was wonderful and the daily specials are enticing. Their signature Club Sandwich was delightful and is a meal in itself without the accompanying sides.The Garden Room offers a light, airy & spacious dining area. It's a bit loud, but service is excellent. If you are in a hurry, you can eat in or take out downstairs. The only down side I encountered was trying to find a way in. Signage to the restaurant is lacking after you leave the parking lot. Once at the front door, I found no reception station, so unless you are really familiar with the restaurant, it is a bit confusing when entering from the street. You have to go through a mini-dining room off the bar or through the bar to let someone know you have a reservation."

We started with the crispy oysters as an appetizer, and I got the goat cheese ravioli with the short ribs and the boyfriend got the shrimp and grits. Everything was delicious, and the portions were just right. I can't wait to have an excuse to go back so I can try more items from their menu!"

  • "Reservations were easy to make using OpenTable. We were promptly seated in one of the small, private-feeling hallways off the main dining area, which was nice. It felt very intimate until a boisterous trio was seated next to us - loud ringtone, full-volume guffawing laughter, the works. Drinks were served promptly, bread not so much. Menu has lots of choices - almost too many! Food was nicely prepared & presented, tasted very good. We'll be returning."

Though it had been a while since we'd been there, we've eaten there on previous occasions and thoroughly enjoyed the food and great service. We decided to return this year and were just as impressed as on previous visits. We were kindly greeted, treated well, made to feel appreciated by our waiter, and enjoyed a fantastic meal.   • "Food was great, service even better. Our server, Steve, was tops. Our group, six of us, had a most pleasant time and will certainly return. The food was hot and tasty. Steve was most knowledgeable about the menu and his recommendations were spot on. The restaurant was clean, orderly, not so loud that you could not hear yourself think. All the staff we met were great. What I most appreciated was Steve's help with my brother, who has parkinsons and was not having a good day insofar as his mobility. Steve assisted me and made sure my brother enjoyed his meal and his visit. He went above and beyond what we have experienced in other restaurants. We have dined here several times and we will return, that is for sure."

  • "I took my wife for her birthday on a weekday. We were in the "Garden" room away from the bar. The waiter found the perfect balance between being attentive and leaving us alone. He even brought back a drink that wasn't made quite right, even though we hadn't complained about it, he picked up on it from my wife's expression. The food was, as always, fantastic. Fried oysters, seared yellowfin, duck, lamb shank, and desserts. Can't complain about the price at the end of the meal considering how perfect the food was. This is my wife's favorite place to go for any special occasion. Yes, it is pricey, but it is also completely worth it, especially if its a once and a while for a special occasion treat."

It met every expectation. 1) love that they support local vineyards - bring your local bottle of wine and no corkage fee!! 2) from the "happy anniversary" message on the menu, to the nice to go package at the end of the night, they never let us forget it was our special night. Everyone wished us a happy anniversary. it made it so nice. Our waitress was lovely, she was personable, friendly & when asked for suggestions, she had one or more. We had the duck & the lamb shank. both were perfect. great taste and perfectly cooked. Portions were generous and came with veggies. Had enough leftovers for lunch the next day."

  • "We go here often, and have over the last few years. The service is thoughtful and efficient, while allowing waitstaff personalities to add to the experience. We brought my 85-year-old father, in his wheelchair (had let them know we needed to accommodate it when we made the reservation), and we enjoyed our Father's Day brunch very much. Our group ran the gamut from a 13-year-old to our dad, and all had an excellent meal and a wonderful time."

  • "We went to Tuscarora Mill for our anniversary, driving from Springfield to enjoy Leesburg. We originally tried to get into Lightfoot, but they were booked. I'm glad we didn't. I've eaten at both, and this is the one I would return to. Excellent food sourced from local farms, with a true gourmet touch. We loved the 3 sizes of plates so we didn't overeat, but enjoyed every bite. Great service, too."

  • "We have been a customer for about twenty years and often enjoy the Sunday brunches - the buffet is just terrific, and the restaurant itself, esp. the Garden Room is pleasantly airy and architecturally interesting. Sadly, we had a less than enjoyable experience last Saturday for dinner with friends, mainly due to a grumpy, unhelpful waiter. That's unheard of for us at Tuscarora Mill, and I am sure management will sort that out promptly. However, although the food is good, it’s become more memorable for trendy fussiness and high price, than any "cordon" excellence. Even discounting the one-off bad waiter, on balance, Tuscarora has become a poor value for us."
