Tuscarora Mill, the cornerstone of Market Station, has been serving fine food & wine to its guests since 1985. Originally an operating grain mill, Tuscarora Mill has maintained the rustic interior & charm of the mill. Chef Patrick Dinh’s seasonal menus use the freshest of local produce. Signature dishes include Sesame Roasted Salmon, Roasted Lamb Chops & Portuguese-style Rockfish. To compliment the menu, Tuscarora Mill has an impressive wine list, winner of the Wine Spectacular Award of Excellence for the past 10 years.   • "Went for my brother's birthday, and it was wonderful. The food was amazing, as always. I have been to Uscarora Mills several times and have NEVER been disappointed. I had the trout New Orleans which was cooked to perfection. My father had the duck and my brother the steak. I tasted them both and they were perfect. Our waiter, Philip, was week informed, Had knowledge of the wine list, was fun and prompt with service. He was the cherry on the Sunday of the evening. This venue will continue to be on my list of places to eat when I'm in the area."

Started with an excellent very dry gin martini, followed with corn chowder, smoked bacon soup, shared a crisp house salad. The entree for both of us was a Angus beef char-grilled Filet Mignon. The steak was prepared and served with perfection. Service was first rate, prompt, but not intrusive. Our server seemed to anticipate desires with perfect timing and attention. Tuskies is highly recommended for a great meal with a group or special friend. Superb desserts."

This is the review of four people who dine out more than we dine in: *Corn Chowder-thin and the vegetables taste like they we put in 20 minutes ago. *one dozen oysters-meh. *chicken spring rolls-truly bland. No one wanted to finish them *goat cheese ravioli with spare rib meat-the spare rib meat was an up-charge and was the only thing work eating. *lamb-very average lamb chops *Steak special-the ONE decent plate ($40.00) *Grilled mushrooms - nice selection but over cooked Four people--a bottle of wine--with a proper tip {the service was good remember!} the bill came to $281.00. Wrote it off to experience and decided there was never a need to return."

Our waiter was very attentive and I do believe they gave us the best seat in the house--clean white linens, large open room with lots of windows and a fireplace. Great ambiance. I could go on and on and on! Food and wine--fabulous."

It's good the chef does not try for too much: the menu is fine, if only the kitchen could turn out the same quality each visit. The Spring Rolls range from terrific to flabby for no identifiable reason. The fried green tomatoes were nearly successful until they were drenched with salad dressing. But the next visit will be better ."

  • "went for a romantic date, couldn't even hear my date talk. We went early too -5:30. We heard the girls behind talking the whole time, "like,oh my god!" as their dates played out a little drama where one guy left the table in a huff, the other guy had to go find/fetch him, as the girls gossiped about huffy guy's attitude in the meantime. well since we couldn't talk to each other and couldn't help but overhear these oh so important dramatic people behind us...we turned to look. then the guys attempted to fight my date. at that point i told my boyfriend we should leave, as there were other, mature patrons trying to enjoy their dinner. i thought we'd get the amuse bouche? not even offered. more veggies could be served. but JONNY WAS GREAT!!"

  • "This was our first visit to Tuscarora Mill, a wedding anniversary. We were attracted by its reputation and the desire to try something beyond our usual neighborhood restaurants. Tuskies completely met our expectations. We started with roasted mushrooms, tasty but a bit odd, since they appeared to be sauteed. We were expected whole mushrooms, but they were still tasty. Our entrees were the trout and duck breast. Both were delicious. We appreciated the petite portion option which encouraged us to indulge in a dessert. We split the butterscotch bread pudding. Excellent. We will definitely be scheduling a repeat visit and not waiting for an event to do it."

  • "Based on reviews, my mother and I came here while visiting the area. Service was fantastic; prompt, friendly, and with great recommendations. Bread starter is delicious with some oil. Wine flight is fun - half pours of any 3 wines, which were all delicious. Meals were Chilean sea bass (perfectly conceived and executed!) and rainbow trout (mom loved it). Dessert was the all things chocolate with 3 small chocolate items, the truffle being the best (and amazing), and the special berry crisp with snicker doodle crumble, and we couldn't get enough of it! Overall a very nice dining experience and would make the hour-long trip for a special occasion."

  • "We got there earlier than our reserved time. So, we wanted to know if they could take us early. Surprisingly, it was possible. But, at a price? They took us to downstairs to a "special" room next to their deli shop. The room was drafty and I could see that they were sending couples there who did not dress up, especially guys wearing casual jackets. Perhaps, they did not have a reservation? I am not sure. Whole time I was wondering why we were sent there. Was it because we did not want to wait for our reserved time? If that was the case, I wish they explained to us. We would have waited. Was it because my husband was wearing a thick eskimo-like winter coat even though he actually dressed up inside. The experience wasn't like going out to DC."

  • "We celebrated my birthday last Saturday night at Tuscarora Mill. We arrived and the host recognized us as a special group. When we were seated our food server presented us with menus that were personalized with a HAPPY BIRTHDAY message. I was also presented with a candy filled Tuscarora Mill mug. Very nice touch. Our food was great. We really liked the wine selections and we will definitely consider Tuscarora Mill again for a special celebration."

Even though they offered the lunch menu, we all opted for the buffet. Tons of food, all well-prepared. Omelet station, prime rib, salmon, great fresh vegetable dishes. One friend tried the chipotle bloody mary and enjoyed it. Our server was attentive and kept my coffee cup filled. We all went back for seconds, and although I didn't try the desserts, they looked delicious."

  • "We reserved two months in advance for valentines. We called two weeks before to ensure we could order off their valentine special menu. We dressed up. When we arrived (we are two women) their host ( a man) tried to seat us at a table practically in the noise bar, next to a wait stand. No table cloth. Nothing. They have a pretty dining room with linens, fireplace, etc. when I asked for a different table he moved us to a small area OUTSIDE the diningroom and still next to the casual bar area. We at least had linens on the table. We felt discriminated against because we are two women. The food was ok only We won't be back"
