Tuscany - WheelingHad wondeful timeTook my mom there for Mother's Day and had a wonderful time. Food very good, and service was very attentive and friendly from the moment we walked into the door. The place had nice vibe if you don't like your restaurants too hushed and quiet without being overly noisy.
A nice touch was on the dessert menu where you could order just a small portion of the offerings. My fiancee had the tiramisu which she really lilked and the portion was just the right size after having eaten a large meal. Too many times nowadays, restaurant serve you these gargantuan desserts that, even if two share, one could never finish in one sitting. Everything tasted fresh and seasoned well. It is a large open space with lots of tables crowded together - it gets pretty loud to the point that our table of 6 had a hard time hearing the person across the table. So you need to talk louder which every table is doing, so the whole place gets loud.

My favorite dish to order at Tuscany is Eggplant Parmesan and I just had to have it!. The portion is large enough to take leftovers home for lunch the next day. My friend ordered the scallops and she said they were outstanding. We both had ice tea to drink and even though we shouldn't have, we couldn't resist ordering dessert. I ordered creme brulee and my friend ordered a chocolate fruit tart. The chef, managers and wait/bus staff are always pleasant, accommodating and very attentive. The food is always outstanding and we will be back again and again. One of our favorite restaurants in the area. Easter Brunch was delicious and bountiful, with all the favorite buffet items: seafood, Italian specialties, salads, fruit, desserts and more. The only suggestion I would have for such a big day, is to have a roped area near the hostess stand so that as the tables are turning over and guests are leaving/arriving (we arrived at 1:00), the crowd waiting does not interfere with the diners partaking in the buffet in the bar area. The food was absolutely fantastic. The dining rooms are charming. The service was mediocre. There was a gaggle of girls at the hostess desk who seemed to be mostly milling around doing nothing. They weren't particularly nice to the guests who were checking in or inquiring about their reservation. Mostly they just seemed to be wishing to be somewhere else and spent a lot of their time with their backs turned to the reservation desk. We were seated half an hour later than our reservation time, which would have been fine if the hostesses had been a little more solicitous and friendly and keeping us informed. All the food was replenished in a timely manner and was delicious. Afterwards we were getting into the car and my mom fell. (it was my car's fault) She was bleeding everywhere. The manager was wonderful. He brought us all kinds of first aid items and did not seem concerned for himself at all about the blood. He was very gracious. It was our first time dining at Tuscany and we could not have been more pleased with the overall experience. The food was excellent and was cooked to perfection.
