Our corner window table facing Taylor Street lent an especially intimate feel to being in this one-large-room restaurant. An octopus appetizer from the daily specials menu was wonderfully tender and fresh. Both kids and adults enjoyed their food. Wine was delicious - had the Baby Amarone. Had the penne with scallops - had a kick to it which I didn't expect when I ordered it, but I liked it. We asked the server if we could come back later, around 10 pm, for dessert. He said "we will be open and would love to serve you dessert then." When we returned, the only place they allowed us to sit was at the bar. There were four of us, so it's a little difficult having a decent conversation at a bar. We ordered a wonderful-sounding dessert that the bartender raved about. They brought us our drinks, then we found out that they were out of dessert. (It's the reason we came!)
