It no longer is there. Made reservations through open table only to find out the day before it is now a burger joint. Got that info from the florist I was going to use. Thank God she told otherwise that would have been rough for my wife's birthday. Thanks for the heads up...

This was my second time here at Tuscany Flame, and both times it was a remarkable experience. I came here with a friend for my birthday, and it was an awesome way to kick off a new year. I am definitely a food snob, and the creativity and lovely presentation of each dish at Tuscany Flame has completely spoiled me. Do not miss the Waygu tartare (an immaculately executed version of a classic) or the pork medallions. This place is my favorite prix fixe option in Totowa!

When we arrived, they had never heard of Open Table and had no knowledge of our reservation. We stood in the entry way for 10 minutes while they pulled tables together for us. The server, who also appeared to be the acting manager, couldn't have been more than 16. When we were handed our menus, the items and prices were completely different than those listed on Open Table. They did agree to honor the prices that were listed on Open Table, however when we got our bills, the higher prices were still on them. The food was mediocre at best. Some dishes were cold when served and others lacked all flavor. I would definitely not recommend this place.

We Bought Groupon coupon and we had joy of delicious food and excellent service. I would totally go back here just to try some other things on the menu - there were so many things that I wanted to try. We started with the wagyu beef tartare - amazing. I savored every bite! My husband ordered the Braised Veal Cheeks. The meat was soft and juicy. Afterwards, don't forget to use the delish bacon bread to soak up the rest of the juices. I ordered the scallops... which had me at salted caramel reduction. :) Probably one of the best scallop dishes I have had. Ever. We had fine dining experience at a reasonable price.

I am going to keep this review short and sweet. But I do want to mention that I can see why so many people love this restaurant. The menu is great, and most what I had was crafted deliciously, and it looks like pride is taken in making the food. Favorite appetizer was the grilled octopus. It is served with potato puree, what a great and unique complement to the seafood. Favorite main dish was the flank steak. Good lord what a dish. So tender you don't even need a knife. It's one of those dishes that you want again as you write a review, I hate that feeling!! Service as you will read is spot on, attentive and professional. We shall be back for more for sure.

    Dined on 11/16/2012
I have dined here 4-5 times over the past few month and each time was a meal to remember. Part of the reason we is the abundance of high quality food. As one of our favorite restaurants, Tuscany Flame has incredibly creative cuisine made from fresh ingredients (you can tell by the flavors)! With one exception, service has been outstanding on each visit. It seems that if you make a reservation for their busiest nights (holidays and weekends), you might end up waiting longer than you hoped and service might feel a bit rushed. But, I am happy to sacrifice a little service to enjoy their food!

Utterly fantastic - will be back My wife and I went here for Dinner and it definitely delivered the best. I ordered the small tasting menu and my wife ordered the Seaboat Scallops. Pumpkin purée - very full flavor. Don't particularly line Pumpkin but we both enjoyed this dish Pear salad with bacon and light vinaigrette - very light and refreshing. Good balance of flavors Spanish octopus salad - incredibly tender. One of the best that we've ever had. I don't like octopus and really enjoyed this dish. Wagyu beef - Absolutely top notch. Incredible flavor and just the right combination of fat and meat. Seaboat scallops. Four huge, well cooked scallops. The oxtail with mushroom reduction was a very nice contrast Dessert Tiramisu was exc

We were blown away! We ordered the small tasting menu Tuscany Flame special) and started off with a bang. The steak Tartare was the best I've ever had! The chef here is a culinary genius! Flavor combinations such as foie gras brulee with mostarda cherries and cocoa nibs - complete genius! It was truly a stand-out meal that we will be talking about for awhile. The tartare bar has been raised - I may be ruined forever! It was absolutely divine. We would love to recommend Tuscany Flame with a heart.

    OpenTable Diner Since 2012
    Dined on 11/9/2012
We have twice selected Tuscany Flame's "chef's signature menu", and left each time very satisfied, both with the excellence and delicacy of the offerings. In each case, service has been perfect; timely but not rushed, with attentive wait staff who are friendly but unobtrusive. We have tried other restaurants in Area, and liked them very much, but the food was either quite predictable, or the ambiance was too noisy, and the staff clearly in a hurry to move diners out and clear tables. Tuscany Flame is very classy, quiet, efficient, and (above all) delicious. We feel truely pampered at Tuscany Flame, so we shall continue on coming are and we definitely recommend it.

Me and my group loved this restaurant, we have been coming here for three month now almost twice or more a week. The chef always creative and consistant with the quality and freshness. the service is elegant and attentive. our repeated visit here allowed us to sample most of the menu and lots of specials and over all its gem to us. we continue to have our meetings and our casual events here some times with my kids and some times with my best friends and every time we were happy and the food was great. yet the prices are very reasonable. Try the whole bronzino if great and also try the lobster risotto with asparagus very good, and lots of the pasta we loved the homemade raviolis. Tiramisu is the best we had anywhere. we shall be back soo

Awesome meal – inventive, well executed. If you appreciate food, this place is one of those splurges that is worth experiencing. My wife and I opted for the signature tasting menu, which seemed like the popular choice. Decor/atmosphere - modern and sophisticated,We ordered market oysters and the foie gras brulee. The oysters tasted so clean, so fresh, and I loved the little kick from the tabasco sorbet on top. Then we got grilled spanish octopus and scallops. The octopus was unbelievably tender, and practically melted in my mouth. Then we had beef belly. Overall, an excellent dinner.

Do not go to this restaurant! If you bought a living social deal just throw it in the garbage. They serve frozen fish sticks and frozen cheese sticks as appetizers. Nothing Tuscan about that! Just don't go!!! The waitress sits on the street outside the front door smoking. It just gets worse and worse.

*drool* My mouth is still watering, thinking about this place. I did the tasting menu, and everything was great. The foie gras creme brulee had that nice combination of sweet and savory. The dayboat scallop was cooked to perfection, and the oxtail paired perfectly with it. The beef belly reminded me of bbq beef ribs. That's a good thing, by the way... because no bbq joint has made ribs taste THIS good! Super delicate and tender meat, with a great smokey flavor. The only weak point in that meal was the pistachio tart dessert, which wasn't very memorable, but I don't even care since the rest of the meal was just that satisfying.

Tuscany Flame's is one of my favorite places to eat. The people are really friendly, the food is great and the prices are very reasonable. My favorites are the mandarin orange salad and the gnocchi bolognese, however the Flamed Flank Steak is definitely the best around. The only knock I can offer is that they are very busy on the weekends and sometimes it can take a while for you to be served. I don't think they are being inattentive, they are just that busy. I have been going to Tuscany Flame's and getting delivery from them for over two month now they really do a good job of customer service and prepare quality foods.

When referencing Italian food, I am, by self-admission, one of "those guys". And by that, I mean, your textbook foodie (hate that term). You know the type… who can't enjoy a dish unless it contains at least three things that no one else at the table has ever heard of. In fact, my friends have long since coined a term for such a product...a "Jon choice". So to any of you reading this, bite me. I dunno, I'm just bored with the classics-the ragu bolognaise, carbonara, frutti de mare, etc, etc. One, because rarely are they made di autentico (yeah, I winced reading that, too), and two, because they're so popular and ingrained into the conceptualized Italian dining ideal that the true culinary pedigree of Italy (which is every bit as dignified

I've experienced a few Italian restaurants in the past and this one is definitely the best. It has a great atmosphere, and the food is possibly some of the best I've had out of Italy. The waiter was charming and amusing, and very helpful with recommending the best dish. And now the food. Ahh, the food. As in all Italian restaurants, we got oil and vinegar and bread, complimentary. It seemed fairly good quality, and the bread wasn't just the normal ciabatta - the basket also contained some slices of a nice bread with some olive taste to it. We were so happy with that we forgot to order the bruschetta! My friend ordered their Gnocchi. Personally, I don't really like gnocchi, I find it sticky and mushy in an unpleasant way. However, when I
