  • "My kids and husband eat gluten free, and there were so many options. The menu was very diverse, and everyone was happy. Braised shortribs are some of the best I've had (the mashed potatoes weren't great, but you can sub them). Everything else was delicious. Free kids meals with purchased of adult meals. Used with restaurant.com voucher, and it was a superb deal! We will definitely be going back! The service was great too!"

  • "Tusca restaurant is located in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency hotel. The lobby is impressive because of its soaring atrium; the restaurant is located in the atrium. The quality of the food and service is what you would expect at an upscale hotel. The price was reasonable. Tusca is not a destination fine dining restaurant but if one seeks a reasonable meal at a reasonable price, then Tusca can be recommended. Complimentary valet parking is available at the entrance to the hotel."

  • "I hoped this would be a lovely restaurant, but they were not prepared for the convention which was in town in the moment, which is totally bonkers because it is when they had a half empty restaurant and it took over an hour and a half to get soup and an order of chicken and a pizza. The waiter was kind...but we sat waiting for him and had to ask the maitre d to find him for us so we could order. It was not relaxing....because it took too long for everything."

  • "We dined at Tusca on 12/29/2013 and we were VERY DISAPPOINTING. The food tasted terrible. The service was not so good either. I choose this place as we were staying at the hotel and the reviews i read on this place were 4 stars. I don't know who would rate this place 4 stars as it is only a one star or below restaurant. I would not recommend this restaurant."

  • "We dined at Tusca with two kids because of the kids eat free menu, and we were very disappointed with the service and the quality of the food. Three pasta dishes we ordered were around $20 a dish, and they came out cold and dry. The roast chicken was fatty and tasted re-heated. The kids meals were very bland that even the kids didn't want to eat them. Our server forgot to bring out the beers we had ordered. Overall we will not be going back and would not recommend this restaurant."

  • "I dine at Tusca quite often for mainly breakfast and/or dinner. This location is inside the Hyatt hotel in Garden Grove. It is open and airy and the food is always cooked to my liking. In addition to the great food, the service is definitely world class. Our server was beyond attentive and **everyone** we came into contact with was incredibly friendly, caring, and willing to accommodate us in anyway possible. It is just an overall wonderful experience when we dine at Tusca, which is why we continue to return."

  • "Went for girls night out dinner, party of 4. Awesome experience! Service was outstanding, server was attentive, made great recommendations, brought all the extras we asked for, kept our table clear and our glassed full. Perfectly paced meal! Had calamari and white bean soup for appetizers, both were yummy. For dinner, we had the braised short ribs, the pan seared scallops, the clam linguine and the frutti de mare pasta. All prepared as described in the menu, all delicious. They know how to make the sauces for all these dishes and seasoned them well (you know that's what can really make or break a dish!). For dessert, had the caramel apple tart, tiramisu, and pistachio cake. All quite different, all quite good. Recommended!"

  • "My husband, sister and I dined at TusCA on November 2, 2013, since we were staying at the Hyatt. Made reservations for 6pm (right when they open for dinner), in order to catch a 8PM concert at the Honda Center. Our server Taylor was made aware that we were catching a 8pm concert, and we wanted to finish our meal before 7PM. She went out of her way to make sure that our food was delivered in a timely fashion, and when the soup I ordered didn't come out in time due to a kitchen ingredient glitch, and both our server and the TusCA manager both went out of their way to make sure that we were satisfied with everything even though we completed the meal before 7pm. All the food that we ordered were delicious - We will return!"

I went to Tusca with my boyfriend for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised to find out they offered a buffet breakfast that included coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. Everything was great. They even offered a made to order omelet bar."

  • "I don't expect a lot from a hotel restaurant. This one is located right next to the lobby, so that is why a low score on ambience, although it does look nice enough. The food was very good. I had risotto with scallops and prawns and the portion was large! Great bread with a sampling of olive oil, roasted garlic, and white bean puree for spreads. Excellent service! Overall I was surprised how good the food was and how much I enjoyed my experience."

  • "We ate here on a Travel-zoo deal. We started off with the Antipasti Misti. So glad we did. We enjoyed the smoked Italian meats and sampled some unique cheeses (including one with truffle dust... yummy!) The Misti came with an assortment of "condiments" including fig paste, walnut halves, honey on the comb, sweet baby gherkins, house-made mustard, and more. What a treat to the palette! We both ordered the grilled salmon (artichoke capanota, potato gnocchi, micro basil). Very well presented and tasty. Salmon was nicely seared on the outside, yet still moist and tender on the inside. Dessert was homemade and wonderful, too! Our waiter, Kamar, was provided excellent service! Atrium atmosphere is upscale and modern."

  • "I took my mother for mothers day 2013, we had never been to TusCa before and she really enjoyed it. The dining area is inside but you fell like your outside. Its an open layout inside the Hotel, but all the windows floor to ceiling make you feel like you are outside. The staff was amazing, the food was very good, more meats at the carving station is my only complaint, they only had pork.... I would go again especially for mothers day. It was reasonably priced and for 10$ more you get unlimited champagne for mothers day brunch. I would recommend this place, and I eat out quite often, i would say BELiSIMO!!!!!"

  • "Tusca is located in a fabulous and sparkling 17-story atrium. ambience is casual/elegant. cozy booths. The menu is small but well chosen. I ordered the roasted beets salad, and the short rib torn pasta. They were equally delicious. Drinks (i had a cosmopolitan) are well made. Desserts----we ordered several-----are to die for. We were a party of four, and everyone loved what they ordered. Surprisingly, our meal was not extremely expensive! We are definitely coming back!"

  • "It really didn't deliver based on all the reviews I read. It's located in the lobby of the Hyatt which really isn't a great location. Supposed to be an Italian restaurant, but besides a few pictures on the wall it's tough to determine how it's Italian? Food was just ok, nothing special, prices were reasonable for the location, but I prob wouldn't return. I tend to support non-chains that offer great food selection and signature dishes"

The restaurant ambiance is very outdated and open to the hotel lobby so all the hussel and bussel of hotel guest is heard through every bite. This would be a great place for families with big appetites on a budget. Otherwise, don't waste your time!"

  • "The food is good and we drank nice wine. It is noisy due to the acoustics of the open atrium but we could still hear our party so worked out well. The service, however, was slow. Slow to take our order, slow to bring the drinks and slow to bring the food. It was a busy night with lots of full tables but there was a trade show in town so that should have been expected and more staff brought in accordingly."

  • "We ate at TusCA for breakfast. Our reservations were basically useless; this resturant does not distinguish between guests with reservations and walk-ins. We all had to wait in the same long line that snaked well past the hotel's front desk. Worse yet was the rude hostess who marked us as a "No Show" on Open Table--despite my direct inquiry regarding our reservation. We had to write back to receive the OT dining credit. Melody, our server, was much more pleasant. We won't eat here again unless they provide guests holding reservations a way of by-passing the line for walk-ins."

They were out of the Pork Loin and served me Pork Chop instead. The chop proved to be quite tough. The pizzas are a bit overpriced as well."

  • "We were at Tusca on a night when they only offered the buffet. It was $23 per person for adults and half price for kids. The problem is that we aren't big eaters, so it ended up being a really expensive meal for not much food. They didn't offer an option to eat off the menu. In retrospect, we should have walked across to street to a different restaurant. I think their food would be better for us on a night that allowed ordering from the menu."

  • "The selection of the Thanksgiving buffet dishes were very limited.....Closer to Cafeteria style. The food tempeture was warm a best, but not hot. Butter for the rolls were not refilled timely. The pies were limited as well and they appeared to be store bought. Right out of a box. The bread pudding was good. Overall very Disappointing. Not what you would expect from a hotel Buffet, this was like Caeteria sytle buffet."
