The service was very good. Not only for recommending certain dishes, but was also very attentive.

The menu is quite big, with plenty of tempting selection. Even after we ordered we knew that there were another half dozen things we'd want to try. The wings are very good - we had the buttered house-kind. I'd go back just for those. We also had the chicken-avocado tacos and can recommend them.
Our server had no problem splitting one bowl of soup into two for the kids, and both were still ample portions.
They were not monstrous sized portions but I'm glad about that. Too many places give American sized portions and its not necessary. The price reflected the portion pretty decently, that is, it wasn't too expensive. Be prepared to pay for the nice setting. I wouldn't say it's an inexpensive place.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMSurprisingly good!Upon my first visit to a Turtle Jacks, it felt like a watered down Montana's......a very lodge/cottage feel and reflective food.
