We had a show to attend and server kept a good pace. It is a bargain. $20 bottle of wines and the dinners are large. Money well-spent.6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Food, Happening PlaceWe had another fabulous meal at Turquoise. Even the spread that comes with the bread was outstanding. The salmon was flavorful and moist. The ground lamb was spicy, but not overpowering. The restaurant on a Saturday night was very loud, but well worth the very reasonable cost of dinner6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Dining Experience.Very good and interesting food. Kick a-- bread & yogurt dip,
superior level of service. Check it out.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMFun Celebration SpotMy party of 8 celebrated my son's college graduation here. The graduation ran an hour late & I called Turquoise to advise them. They kept our reserved table for us much to my amazement. Everyone in my party raved about the food from the seafood to the vegetarian choices. The almond dessert with the flaming chocolate rum sauce is fabulous. Ample street parking is definitely a plus in the city.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and reasonable pricesMy girlfriend and I sat at the bar for dinner on Saturday. The restaurant was packed and lovely with a great atmosphere. We had friendly combination of waiters that have recommendations on food. The meal was great and came at a reasonable price.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMAuthentic Delicious Turkish FoodWe discovered Turkish cuisine on a recent vacation in Turkey, and have had difficulty finding delicious Turkish food in the U.S. Turquoise does a wonderful job of capturing the complex, savory flavors we were missing.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMThe sea bass is outstanding. The sea bass is outstanding. If you were to dine later, I doubt that would be an issue.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMVery friendly and accommodatingVery friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent warm bread to start with interesting radish spread. Specials of bottled wines unfortunately limited as they had run out of most, but the merlot was very good. We had steak and grouper as entrees--excellent. Will be back!4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMTurqoise is a popular familyTurqoise is a popular family run business that has some unique Mediterranean dishes. There is a lot of pride and great flavor in everything I have had there. One of my favorite spots.
They get even busier in summer when they have limited outdoor seating.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMGoing to go back sometime soonNice wine, nice dining room, great food. Service was slow, but our server was nice enough. Highly recommend the mixed grill entree. Would definitely return.4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMLove Turquoise! It is ourLove Turquoise! It is our "go to" place, on our own or with another couple. I particularly appreciate the attentive and friendly service. Great for vegetarians! Very interesting food selection!4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Turkish Delight dish (medleyThe Turkish Delight dish (medley of delicious veggies on top of a huge hummus plate with dried apricots) was a real winner. Lamb kebobs were also excellent.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat First ExperienceHad an early dinner on Easter Sunday, so the restaurant was not too crowded. Grilled calamari, zucchini pancakes, and caprese were wonderful appetizers and were ample to share between a group of five. Ordered three different lamb dishes (begendi, and yogurt and onion kebabs), steak, and grouper. Everyone thought their dish was the best! Again, portion size was ample and three of us had leftovers to take home. Split several desserts - the baklava was especially good, not too sweet as sometimes happens. Service was informative and attentive, but not overbearing. Wine was reasonable. Would definitely return and recommend!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, good service,Great food, good service, reasonable prices. Highly recommend it :)3/23/2013 12:00:00 AM
