Turner Fisheries Restaurant and BarMother's Day brunch deluxeI took my mother for brunch on Mother's Day 2013. We were seated at a table with a great view of the streetscape. The staff were wonderful and gracious, and couldn't be more helpful. I chose this place due to its food reputation, and specifically for its extensive brunch offerings. (Many place offer fixed price with limited selection.) There were a variety of options, including oysters, mussels, and shrimp!! There were healthy vegetarian items, too. Everything was good, but nothing struck me as outstanding. We enjoyed a leisurely meal, and the staff did not hurry us. All in all, very enjoyable. Our server was friendly, accomadating and very knowledgeable. The waitstaff did seem a touch understaffed, as we waited a little while for both menus and our main courses. I had the baked lobster which was perfectly prepared. We shared an order of mussels which were delightful, plump, and in a very good sauce. The Boston creme pie was very dry and non traditional.
