TulioSuch a lovely mealWe chose Tulio because it was strategically located for all four of us; we will choose it again for the terrific food, service and ambiance. Antonio was our server and had perfect timing. Additionally, his recommendation of food and wine was superb; I hope he is our waiter on future visits.5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful for a family gatheringWe had a celebratory dinner with 9 extended family members and had a fabulous time in a special section upstairs. The waiter was very patient with us and took care to meet all of our needs/requests. The food, wine, drinks and dessert were terrific.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMNothing terribly innovative,Nothing terribly innovative, but well-executed Italian fare in a traditional setting.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMA good option if you're downtown. We had the focaccia with truffle oil, pappardelle, and fish of the day- Alaskan halibut. Our meals were well seasoned and the fish was perfectly cooked. The service was very attentive despite it being a busy night. They had a nice wine list and made my husband a lovely gin martini. At the end of our meal we asked for two espressos with an orange twist, and they were happy to oblige. The only cons would be that it was slightly noisy and the seating was a bit cramped. Still, a great dining experience.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat classic Dining SpotBartender was terrific. Food was very good. Classy classic feel. Quiet Will be back!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMTulio's GREATWe love Tulio's. My firends and I don't go to Seattle often but try to make the 5th Ave. thearer at least twice a year. We always book Tulio's. We've never been dissapointed in the food or service. We especially like the location and "valet parking"! Keep up the good work. Thanks, again5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways a great time!Every time I visit Seattle, I have to eat at Tulios. It is one of my most favorite places to eat. Great gluten free options and the staff is more than willing to make the meals to your liking. Will be back this summer!!5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect pre-show meal!My mom and I had tickets to see Jersey Boys at the 5th Ave Theater and wanted to grab dinner before the show. Our servers asked us upon arrival if we had tickets and made sure that we were out in time to comfortably make it to our seats! They were fantastic, kind, and funny.
The food was great, but I had better luck ordering than my mom did. I had the chicken (by our server's recommendation. He said "It's the best chicken downtown") and it was delicious! Served on lemon risotto, it was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. My mom ordered the ribeye and was a bit disappointed, saying the bleu cheese crumble overwhelmed the flavor of the meat, which is tough for a ribeye!
All in all, wonderful experience! We'll be back :)4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMTulio has been around forever,Tulio has been around forever, but is a vibrant mainstay of downtown Seattle. We have had many meals there, and all have been wonderful. The high standard continues. Food excellent, service pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommend.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMLovely meal at a buzzing restaurantWent to Tulio's with my girlfriend and found it to be a great restaurant. There was a great atmosphere in it, with a nice buzz of people chatting and enjoying themselves. The lighting gave the meal a romantic ambiance which was very enjoyable.
The main's were delicious, with portions being the right size. I had the Orecchiette which I fell in love with it was sooooo tasty. Michelle really liked her Smoked Salmon Ravioli.
The service was good, a but slow for getting drinks but it didn't distract from the meal. Our waiter was very friendly, and when they ran out of the dessert my girlfriend ordered he offered different alternatives and was able to get to get dessert similar to the original order.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMTerifficEverything was prepared perfectly and service was outstanding.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful food but slowWe were at Tulio for an early dinner before an 8pm show. We had reservations and were seated immediately upstairs, which is a little quieter than downstairs. Very nice upstairs. Our waiter was prompt and attentive; food was absolutely delicious. The appetizers arrived promptly, but the one negative was how very long we waited for the entrees. In fact, we were worried about getting to the show on time. But the food was so good, we'd definitely go again and give them another chance to redeem themselves on timeliness.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were very happy with it.We were very happy with it. Our waitperson was great and very patient with us.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMWhenever I am in downtownWhenever I am in downtown Seattle I favor Tulip for fine Italian.4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful food. Hubby took me to Tulio for my birthday. The Ahi Tuna and Duck was fantastic. The cocktail drinks were delicious - Pomegrante Margarita and Raspberry Truffle Drop. We look forward to coming back again.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMMartin Hits the Homefun Again! My girlfriend and I often dine here at Tulio, as it is her favorite Seattle restaurant. Whether it has been for an anniversary, celebrating her graduation, birthday's, or for this occasion my new job and graduating with my Bachelors Degree, Tulio is a true gem and must for any and everyone looking for that perfect night out. Whether it is starting with Chef Walter's delicious sweet potato sweet potato gnocchi or the burrata, youare sure to enjoy it as you move to selecting the perfect entree.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMTulio Restaurant has beenTulio Restaurant has been a favorite for my husnband and I. This time we were joined by 2 friends., who heard us talk about Tulio, and they enjoyed the food, service and ambiance as well. Tulio will continue to be in my top 10 restaurants in Seattle.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMFavorite in SeattleThree stars for service only because of the waiter. Rest of the staff, host & servers were excellent. A friend was there the night before and had a great waiter, luck of the draw. Suspect more great ones than mediocre. Definitely will go again if in Seattle.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was excellent and servingFood was excellent and serving was friendly and fun. The one big issue was the noise level. It was so loud and the tables are so close together that everyone in the place is shouting at each other. That's fine in an inexpensive restaurant but Tulio is not inexpensive. Your "noise" parameter does not allow the user to indicate a disturbing noise level that reduced the enjoyment of the diner. I suggest you add another choice for Noise because that doesn't impact the dining experience.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing food! The serviceAmazing food! The service was impeccable as well!!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had made an early dinnerWe had made an early dinner reservation to precede a theatre commitment. Sadly, we were a bit tardy due to traffic bogs getting into the city, but the Tulio staff accomodated us graciously and worked very hard to get us out and on our way ON TIME!! Thank you, so much!4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMService seemed a little slow.Service seemed a little slow. Some nearby patrons who came in later than us were served earlier. Even though we arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation (5:45 pm), we barely made it to the theater in time for the performance (7:30 pm).4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMJersey in the PWNMy parents and I dined at Tulio prior to going to see Jersey Boys at the 5th. Being from New Jersey my folks were thrilled to find that the Chef is as well. The enjoyment of that shared information was just the beginning of a wonder evening. James, our waiter, caught the vibe of our table perfectly which resulted in wonderful conversation and service. The food was prepared beautifully and tasted even better. If you're looking for a little taste of a warm NY or NJ style Italian this is the place.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMbrunch before a show at thebrunch before a show at the 5th Ave - great location - great food - easy park - walk to the 5th -4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat choice pre-theaterThis is a wonderfully intimate spot if you're lucky enough to be seated in a booth. The center of the restaurant can feel somewhat crowded. The food was wonderful (we had the lamb, chicken, gnocci and 2 desserts).4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWith or without the kids itWith or without the kids it is always a great expereince to dine at Tulio's! A great place for 2 or 8 for dinner and a hit with foodie friends.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding!Absolutely fantastic meals! Highly recommend it!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome RestaurantSuch a wonderful restaurant - awesome food, great service, respectable wine list - right in the heart of downtown. A true dining gem! If you are going to the theater on 5th avenue, this is the restaurant to eat at beforehand.4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMTerrific Tulio'sWe had a lovely evening at Tulio Ristorante in Seattle. We had a party of 7 and were shown to a perfect table on the second floor affording us a little privacy for our celebration. The food was delicious and the service was superior. All around, a very enjoyable evening.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMwonderful Italian! My boyfriend is a very picky eater and he absolutely loves this place! We both had a salad, both wonderfully presented and flavorful. I had the lamb sirloin which was cooked as requested and wonderful. My boyfriend had the papadelle pasta with beef sauce. It was wonderful as well. We will definitely be back!4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfectWe went for my wife's birthday. We'd read very good things, but our Tulio experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped up to the host's stand, every staff member in the place was great. Our server understood our dining "plan" and made excellent recommendations for appetizers through dessert. We could not have had a better experience. We whole-heartedly recommend Tulio's! Enjoy!4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMThe bread is wonderful! TheThe bread is wonderful! The atmosphere is upbeat. We really enjoyed the food there. My husband loved the salmon ravioli. The best was the pistachio desert.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous Food and ServiceWe had reservations for an early dinner. We need to add to more to our dinner party. Tulio's was able to accomodate our request. Celebrated our wedding anniversary and wife's birthday last night and it was simply a most enjoyable evening. What made this evening the most enjoyable was the outstanding service of our favorite servers, Suzy. She is the most unbelievable combination of professionalism, friendliness, well timed attention and humor. She just has the knack for providing the most perfect level of service that makes all of our dining experiences at Tulio so enjoyable. I continue to highly recommend Tulio for its great food but I also compliment Tulio for having such a super star in Suzy.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways a joy to dine at Tulio;Always a joy to dine at Tulio; excellent food and great ambiance!4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMHaving been at Tulio's severalHaving been at Tulio's several times it has become my wife's favorite place in downtown. They easily and efficiently acocmdoated 7 of us for her birthday dinner, and had us to tthe 5th Ave Theater in time for an 8PM showing. It was a wonderful evening. Great food, easy location and very attentive staff take great care. Love the place.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMLove this neighborhood gem! This was my second visit to Tulio, both times were excellent. Wait staff is very attentive but not too much so. Server suggested a great wine and the swordfish special was delicious!4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMI'm not usually fondant diningI'm not usually fondant dining within a hotel or restaurant attached to 1 the to Leo was great. The ambiance was quiet and low key which is exactly what I was looking for an Easter brunch. I will definitely get go back to to Leo at the staff was very welcoming and very attentive.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMAlthough it is connected toAlthough it is connected to a hotel, I wouldn't consider this a typical hotel restaurant. Table ready, wine ordered (very comprehensive wine list - check the website), and kicked off with a delicious shared Burrata with heavenly caponata, v. slightly on the sweet side - but nicely balanced the rich cheese. Next, shared the evening pasta special: penne with pork ragu - FAB flavor, though my only criticism was that the ragu might have been a bit finer mince to better fill the penne. For entrees, my wife had the roast lamb - excellent: savoury, and served on a bed of pureed potatoes/parsnips; I had the duck confit/grilled magret pair: beyond succulent, med.-rare breast and crisp confit. Finished off with incomparable semifreddo and grappa - bravo!3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMVery impressed with our dinnerVery impressed with our dinner at Tulio's! The appetizer sweet potato gnochci was to die for, and the main course of roast chicken and risotto didn't disappoint. I could eat there every night!3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMI was surprised at how goodI was surprised at how good the food was, and the ambiance. I cook, and want dining out to be something special, for both food and service, and this had both. We were visiting from out of town, and this was a late day decision.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMNorthern Italian a la PisanoExecutive Chef Walter Pisano has created a culinary gem in downtown Seattle. The cuisine is northern Italian and the menu offers something for everyone and every occasion. Normally I visit Tulio while staying at the Hotel Vintage Park with my wife. The main dining room is energetic yet intimate and always fulfills a busy day in Seattle. On this trip I was alone and chose to dine at the bar in the adjacent bistro area. Rachel, the bar tender and my server, was very friendly and efficient. She suggested that any of the "primo" menu items were available as half orders so I chose a half pear gorganzola risotto and a half smoked salmon ravioli. Both were excellent choices and were quite appropriate for bar dining. I'll return again soon!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways a great experienceAlways a great experience - attentive service, accommodation for gluten free needs, top notch dessert, and excellent food from start to finish.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat location.
