Gluten free pasta an ode to customer service, mille grazie.
Swordfish with pasta delicious. Wine list well chosen and reasonable.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMBest restaurant in Naples.Tulia is a gem of restaurant. The food and service are impeccable. We had the lamb pasta from the dinner menu and it is to die for. Definitely our go to spot for special occasions or anytime I can get there.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMThe meal was really great. The meal was really great. Loved the atmosphere..5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMwonderful experienceWe dined at Tulia on Mother's Day for the first time. Wonderful food, excellent service by Amanda, and outstanding menu. It was totally different than every other Italian restaurant in Naples. The décor was warm and welcoming. A true neighborhood gem! I hope they are here for many years!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and serviceLoved this small Italien restaurant. Service and food were outstanding. My husband has allergies which the waiter communicated to the chef, who prepared an excellent meal that met his dietary needs. Will definitely be dining here again.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Italian in NaplesLots of Passione went into this gem of a restaurant. The owner chef works the open kitchen like he's on roller skates, paying attention to every dish. The wife works the front of the house making sure everything runs smoothly. The decor is so detail oriented right down to the faucets in the men's room!
This place stands out like a beacon in the sea of mediocore Italian joints in this town. I highly recommend the seafood pasta, in which they throw in all the seafood in the house for that day. It's fresh and with a zingy sauce, the pasta is cooked to perfection. I also thought the house caponata, served with the incredible crusty bread is a great way to start your meal.
Prices are reasonable, so I see why it's tough to get a reservation here!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat placeThe food and service were fabulous. We will be returning soon.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMAbsolutely Wonderful!!Tulia was a wonderful dining experience Everything we ordered was very fresh and delicious The bread and eggplant spread was a meal in itself. We ordered the Brussels sprouts with sausage , exceptional. The fresh mozzarella and tomato salad was so delicious ; the tomatoes tasted like deep rich farm grown tomatoes. The cheese so smooth and velvety. The pizza was outstanding. I felt like I was back in Italy. The sauce on the pizza was perfect. Not too acidic. Purely a flavorful tomato sauce. Would love that sauce on any pasta or alone with their wonderful warm crusty bread. The whole experience at Tulia was exceptional; as was our waiter, James.
The best restaurant we have been to in Naples and we have been here 20 years!5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMService with a smileThe food was very good, our waitress Amanda made everything that much better5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic new restuarant inFantastic new restuarant in Naples. There were 6 of us, two couples that were our guest, and they absolutely loved the restaurant, the food was absolutely spectacular and the management and servers really care about their customers. They will be around for many years!5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfection!Food, service, atmosphere, menu options, wine list - PERFECTION!5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMWe loved this restaurant! We enjoyed everything about Tulia's! Great service, ambience & the food was awesome! Nice wine selection too!4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMthe best!!!Tulia's was fabulous, as always. It doesn't get any better than that. The food is incredibly fresh, delicious and artistically plated, and the wait staff is not only competent, but has deep knowledge of the food and drink choices, which is quite unique. And you are encouraged to relax and enjoy in a very comfortable, friendly setting--never rushed to turn tables, even at peak hours.4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMA nice addition to Fifth AvenueOur first time to this relatively new restaurant. We dined at 7:00 on a Saturday night, and the place was just beginning to fill inside, with a bit of a wait for outdoor seating. I had one of the pasta specials, which was very good, with fresh ingredients, and reasonably priced. My wife had the beet salad as her entree, again, very fresh ingredients and good favors. There are many Italian restaurants on Fifth, but Tulia, in its "country Tuscan" setting is a nice addition with entree choices that keep it from being redundant. We will definitely return.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMRare Surpise in fifth avenueExcellent Food Service and atmosphere. Our server was attentive good humored and professional and made the evening fun.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMWhen we arrived out reservationWhen we arrived out reservation could not be found. I had reserved a table for 2 the day before,on line. They were slow when we got there so we did get seated. By time we left place was filling up. Waitress very good and food good.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst time dining at Tulia-First time dining at Tulia- outstanding ! Best pizza and pasta. Great service.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMOur new favorite restaurant! We'll definitely be back. Saturday night, we were four 50-60'ish year old women who had samplings from all the categories on the menu and loved it all! We were pre-theater, so we opened the place at 5PM, but it got VERY crowded, so the secret is definitely out. Cocktails and wine were excellent. Can't say enough about the food: carmelized Brussel sprouts, Tuscan chicken livers, beet/pear salad, delicious bread, pizza, Faroe Island salmon entree...all fantastic preparation and presentation. Can't wait to return to try more items from this wonderful menu.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Food was fantastic. IThe Food was fantastic. I will be back many times.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMWe would have appreciatedWe would have appreciated a larger sized portion of the Tortelloni with roasted beef short rib, foie gras emulsion & marsala, however it was very good. The Garganelli with braised lamb sugo with sharp cheese provided a good sized portion while offering a very unique and delicious taste. The Caesar salad was good, not great, and was drowned in the Caesar salar dressing, while how it was served could have been more appetizing. The restaurant was very busy, crowded, and the experience felt that some of the preparation was rushed, e.g. the olive spread served with the bread. I liked the rustic feel of the interior, while my wife felt it to be ordinary and uninspiring, and very average. I am looking forward to watching Tulia mature!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMLove the feel of the placeLove the feel of the place like an old Italian farmhouse. Loved the risotto but the table was split on the duck tagliatelle. One person thought it was delicious but too spicy. Would definitely return to try other dishes. Service with great.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMThe brilliant chef from Campiello,The brilliant chef from Campiello, Vincenzo Betulia, has mastered this fantastic new restaurant! The food is delicious, and everything from appetizers to pizzas to entrees are just wonderful. Service is terrific. A true delight, and a welcome addition to the Naples scene.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food, service and outdoorThe food, service and outdoor atmopsphere all came together magically for our first visit. We will be back!4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMMy husband and I both hadMy husband and I both had the gnocchi which was wonderful. Nice outdoor seating to people watch.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMSimply delicious. The serviceSimply delicious. The service and atmosphere added to a wonderful night out. We will be back.4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMAuthentic Old World ItalianMy first visit to this "Old World" Italian restaurant recently opened on 5th Ave. The chef/owner was the chef at renowned Campiello's on 3rd Street for many years. His offerings here are unusual and as always delicious!! All the pasta is made in house and he is using local ingredients. All our food was delicious and the people watching was vibrant since it was Thursday night in Naples. We all agreed we would be returning often.4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMmust say the second trip wasmust say the second trip was fun also. Great food, lots to choose from and all was very good. This was our first visit to Osteria Tulia. It was highly reccommended by knowing friends. The food was easily up there with the finest that is availalble in Naples, and we know them all. We will return soon!
Even with the "new acoustical " ceiling panels we were told were recently added, its still gets pretty darn noisy. we would STRONGLY URGE THE MANAGER -- JASON ZADOROSKI -- TO PLEASE LOWER THE SOUND SYSTEM A NUMBER OF DECIBELS -- ESPECIALLY IF HE WANTS TO HOLD ONTO THE "MATURE" CROWD!
Otherwise, KEEP UP THE GRAND WORK, JASON!4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMNaples Best Italian! The short rib tortelloni was delicate and delicious! All of our entrees were fabulous!4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMBest diner of our vacationThe pastas were fantastic. The sausage on the pizza was house made and excellent. An wonderful addition to the Naples' dining scene.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our first visit toThis was our first visit to Tulia's., and I doubt it will be our last. Glad to have Tulia on Fifth Ave South. Hope to return soon.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was great.. Service wasFood was great.. Service was excellant. we will return.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMAppetizers were amazing (maybeAppetizers were amazing (maybe best ever!)...Entrees were good, but not as great as apps. (isn't this the case for many restaurants)...3 of our party of 6 ordered the seafood pasta...pasta and sauce were delicious, seafood quantity varied from satisfactory to non-existent between the 3 identical entrees. Atmosphere on 5th Ave cannot be matched.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMAuthentic Italian in NaplesThe menu at Tulia is by far and away one of the most authentic WE have found in the area. Special mention must be made of the appetizers and starter dishes as well as the homemade pasta. Our party of four shared 4 starters, 3 pasta dishes and a serving of porchetta. All were very good but the homemade fennel sausage on a bed of lentils, the meatballs and the stracci with a duck ragu stood out. We washed this down with two decent bottles of Chianti. Our server, Amanda was outstanding allowing us to order dishes how and when we wanted them. The only downside was the limited and somewhat uninspired choices of main courses. We would definitely return and recommend this place to others.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMWell worth a visit...noisyWell worth a visit...noisy bistro setting but decor is wonderful, food is great and service is very helpful.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMTHE BEST!!!They opened only a few months ago, but we've been there 6 times. The food is truly outstanding (and i'm Italian and a tough marker on quality of food), served beautifully and the service is always outstanding! And all employees smile, acknowledge you, are friendly and make the experience so much better than most restaurants. Naples has many excellent restaurants, but the staff at Tulia really make this gem stand above the rest.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMWe've had the pleasure ofWe've had the pleasure of eating at Tulia's in early Feb., (about a month after they opened) and a 2nd time (the week leading up to Easter). In both cases, the food, service and atmosphere was very very enjoyable. This past time had many families with young children (we're an older twosome--although in Feb, I was there with my mid-30's age son) and the service and food in both cases was extremely good. They are definitely keeping their high quality consistency as they go forward.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMDelightful and very accommodatingDelightful and very accommodating on a very cold evening in March which meant no outside seating.3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMHectic but comfortable. ThisHectic but comfortable. This was our second visit and the food was quite good on both occasions. The service was great on the first occasion and good on the second. Every table is filled and reservations well in advance are a must. On balance one of Naples' top ten!3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food. Pasta was excellent.Great food. Pasta was excellent. Would o back very soon. Service was excellent.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMThought the menu was veryThought the menu was very limited if you didn't want pasta. Needed to have more fish dishes. The salmon, however, was very good. The prices were reasonable. I wouldn't rush back there, however, because there are so many other great restaurants downtown.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved the restaurant, secondLoved the restaurant, second time there and over whelmed with food and service. good as it gets.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMincredible.
