I took an out-of-town friend to Tuk Tuk for a nice meal where we were able to visit and catch-up. We were there on a Wednesday night and it wasn't crowded, which of course made it a little quieter and enabled the server to be more attentive. The spinach wrap appetizers were fantastic with a great burst of flavors. The chicken satay appetizer was also tasty. We had a curry and another chicken dish for our entrees and both were good with nice flavors and presentation. Our server was great, allowing us time to visit and yet being very timely, attentive and pleasant in describing the menu and offering recommendations. The spaciousness of the restaurant makes for a very nice ambiance.

The ambiance of the restaurant was really nice (Best thing). We had a reservation on a Thursday night and half of the restaurant was empty. They sat us a really nice table by the window. The main problem with the service was that our waiter was also the bar tender. Note - we were not sitting in the bar area. As the bar got more busy our service got worse and became nonexistent. I had to go to the bar and ask for everything. Whoever is responsible for managing this restaurant should be fired in my opinion. No way should the (only) bar tender be waiting tables. Several waiters with nothing to do. Food - I ordered the whole snapper, a dish I order often at Thai restaurants. I hate to say it but the fish was not fresh. It tasted very fishy.

The dipping sauce for the Calamari appetizer was exceptional but the Calamari was just under fresh. The Pad Thai was pretty good, with very fresh ingredients including the shrimp and bean sprouts, but overall the dish was not a "wow". The spinach leaf wrap appetizer was unique. Our server was excellent; she described each dish in detail and was well organized in a fast-paced environment.

I was pleasantly surprised to walk into the restaurant and see the ambiance. The service was impeccable but the food blew me away. I like the view, the choices of food and my waitress was most helpful in food selection. I will definitely be back. If you go, ask for Noon, our waitress really helped to make the experience. I had the calamari and the red snapper with jasmine rice and mango salad.

Wonderful service and creative ambience. The curry tasted very good but covered too much rice for my palate, although the rice was quite good. You must take a private elevator to the third floor, then enjoy the windowed view.

This was our first time at Tuk Tuk. The atmosphere is very cool with a beautiful view. We were seated inside and then ignored for at least 10 minutes until we flagged down a waitress to take our drink order. We decided to order drinks, appetizers & dinner since we were afraid we would have another long wait if we didn't order all at once. The drinks were delivered within a reasonable time and then (voila!) dinner arrived before the appetizers! We sent the dinner back & asked for our appetizers. Our appetizers were quickly delivered and were very tasty. Then dinner was delivered again. Everything was delicious but the service was absolutely terrible. I would give it another try only because the food was delicious.

This is my go to place to take friends to for a great Thai meal! I work in Midtown and introduce new people to it often, they always comment that they love it and will be back. The lunch special box is a great way to try several of their dishes and comes with soup too! Their chicken satay is a favorite. Several of us went to Tuk Tuk late after a show at the Fox and it was great fun to try a variety of their small plates and appetizers. They are known for their Thai "street foods" and it never fails to impress and delight the guests I bring.

We enjoyed our dinner at Tuk Tuk very much. Our server was prompt and helpful. We ordered the spinach wrap appetizer and were amazed at the burst of flavors. It's a must try! We also had the beef tenderloin appetizer and it was juicy with an interesting dipping sauce. The whole red snapper was our entree that we split. We cleaned that fish down to the white bones. It was large enough to split since it came with a mango salad and side of dressed cabbage slaw. We will be back!

Best practice for dining over the weekend is set a reservation. Luckily, I was able to book one last opening for a party of three at 8p an hour before arriving. This was my first visit and immediately I knew I made the right choice simply because parking was great for a downtown location. In addition, the modern Thai decor was appealing and the scenic views were great. Out waiter Ernest was superb and most importantly the food was amazing. Portioned at the perfect amount the food was flavorful and filling. Samosas, Pad Zee U, Lad Na Talay and Kao Pad Goong Chiang were all great.

We've been dining in Atlanta on visits to our children in college here for over 12 years. Tuk Tuk Thai Food Loft had the best Thai food we've found here. The tuna salad dish was unexpected and not recommended (basically a 'tuna salad' with canned tuna. ALL other food great, we ate from each other's plates and even ordered more to try the variety. Had dinner with my daughter and a coworker. (i forgot our waiter's name)...so sorry, but he was really wonderful and extremely helpful with the menu, made great suggestions, explained things well. the food was, as always, fantastic. Beautiful dishes, pretty to look at and loaded with flavor. it was raining so we sat inside. it has a nice ambience for romantic dinners, the many small ceiling lights under a dark ceiling give it a night sky twist. i used to live nearby and frequented often, but having moved further away, this is just an occasional treat, however, i do keep coming back, despite the myriad of other choices available. Highly recommend it.

I had a Thai dish that I'd only ever saw before on a menu in Thailand, so this is not simply a pad thai kind of place. The food was great. My only complaint was the service was kinda slow, and the place wasn't that full at the time, so it didn't seem like it should be slow.

I went to Tuk Tuk Thai because I had heard many positive comments about the place and I am a fan of both Nan and Tamarind. Tuk Tuk Thai was a really hollow imitation of a good Thai restaurant. I chose to go on the heralded Monday Night in order to enjoy the house specialty. Well, it was sad. Imagine a sad little restaurant in the middle of a dying town in the middle of Georgia somewhere. Add mismatched tables, really poor service, and food that tasted as if it was prepared four or five hours before service. My recommendation is to spare yourself this ignominy. Way too many great Thai restaurants in Atlanta for this one to survive, in spite of the great location.
