Diner Reviews
  • "Best practice for dining over the weekend is set a reservation. Luckily, I was able to book one last opening for a party of three at 8p an hour before arriving. This was my first visit and immediately I knew I made the right choice simply because parking was great for a downtown location. In addition, the modern Thai decor was appealing and the scenic views were great. Out waiter Ernest was superb and most importantly the food was amazing. Portioned at the perfect amount the food was flavorful and filling. Samosas, Pad Zee U, Lad Na Talay and Kao Pad Goong Chiang were all great."

  • "The menu had so many voices I loved it was a major decision. We had spinach appetizer, one beef and one chicken main course, then splurged on the shaved ice. It was amazing. Great combo of flavors and color, sweet/salty, crunchy, creamy, and chewy. Ultra yummy!"

  • "We've been dining in Atlanta on visits to our children in college here for over 12 years. Tuk Tuk Thai Food Loft had the best Thai food we've found here. The tuna salad dish was unexpected and not recommended (basically a 'tuna salad' with canned tuna. ALL other food great, we ate from each other's plates and even ordered more to try the variety. An enjoyable evening by all, good food, good service, good time!"

  • "This is always one of my favorite places in Atlanta, great view and awesome Thai food!"

  • "We were disappointed in the food. It is probably better for younger folks who don't mind highly spiced dishes. I found the chef not very accomodating to those of us who are on a low salt diet. We miss Taurus!"

  • "Tuk Tuk provides authentic Thai cuisine that explodes with flavor to your palate and senses. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and will definitely come back time and time again. The Monday night fried chicken was AWESOME and I highly recommend it and the Kanom Jeeb (chicken and shrimp dumplings). I love great food and this place is definitely a winner!"

  • "Looking for a unique find then this is the place. Although not easy to see from the street because it is around back of building, and located on second floor after arriving via building elevator. Some of the best Thai food I have had which is very often."

  • "This is the fourth or fifth time I have been to Tuk Tuk and it's always very good."

  • "Had dinner with my daughter and a coworker. (i forgot our waiter's name)...so sorry, but he was really wonderful and extremely helpful with the menu, made great suggestions, explained things well. the food was, as always, fantastic. Beautiful dishes, pretty to look at and loaded with flavor. it was raining so we sat inside. it has a nice ambience for romantic dinners, the many small ceiling lights under a dark ceiling give it a night sky twist. i used to live nearby and frequented often, but having moved further away, this is just an occasional treat, however, i do keep coming back, despite the myriad of other choices available. Highly recommend it."

  • "The food has been consistently good the few times we have been at this restaurant. What bothers me is the limited number of service staff leading to inconsistent service"

  • "I had a Thai dish that I'd only ever saw before on a menu in Thailand, so this is not simply a pad thai kind of place. The food was great. My only complaint was the service was kinda slow, and the place wasn't that full at the time, so it didn't seem like it should be slow."

  • "I went to Tuk Tuk Thai because I had heard many positive comments about the place and I am a fan of both Nan and Tamarind. Tuk Tuk Thai was a really hollow imitation of a good Thai restaurant. I chose to go on the heralded Monday Night in order to enjoy the house specialty. Well, it was sad. Imagine a sad little restaurant in the middle of a dying town in the middle of Georgia somewhere. Add mismatched tables, really poor service, and food that tasted as if it was prepared four or five hours before service. My recommendation is to spare yourself this ignominy. Way too many great Thai restaurants in Atlanta for this one to survive, in spite of the great location."

  • "As a first time diner at Tuk Tuk, I have to say I absolutely loved it. The decor is chic and vibrant, and the food was sooooo good !! For any first time diners, I have to recommend the Fried Bananas and Coconut Ice Cream. It's heaven on a plate ! I will definitely be dining at Tuk Tuk again."

  • "Eclectic menu, outstanding delivery! The outdoor upstairs balcony offers beautiful views of Atlanta in a very relaxed, uncrowded atmosphere. Best thing on the menu is the Salmon, maybe best in the ATL"

  • "Everything was amazing. Only issue is that apps came out before we could have our wine decanted. Normally this isn't an issue, but we were done with our first apps when the wine was decanted. Other than that we loved everything and will be back again shortly!"

  • "The place was nice and colorful. Food was good and our server was really nice. She greet us by saying Swadee kah, she was very sweet and smiling all the time. All the dishes we order were great, the bite size samosas, beef salad and Padthai. Will definitely visit again and recommend our friends."

  • "The beef jerky is one of the best cooked meals I have ever eaten. The whole red snapper is good too and you can freak out your guests with the eyeballs (or take them home to the cat for even more fun)."

  • "They offer a nice variety of appetizers, entrees and a daily lunch special that is served in stacked aluminum tins. The specials are usually quite tasty and give people a chance to try a few dishes. If you like fried chicken you should try Tuk Tuk's twist on this dish. They only offer it on Monday nights. It comes with three pieces, accompanied by three tasty dipping sauces, an Asian mango sweet shredded salad and sticky rice...Yum! Enjoy this neighborhood gem and gathering place."

  • "Tuk Tuk is our 8 year olds favorite restaurant and ours too! He chose it as his Bon Voyage dinner with friends before leaving for summer camp. It is great for well behaved kids before 8:30pm. On the weekends it gets a bit trendy and date night after 8:30. The lunch box option allows you to try lots of their menu at 1/2 the cost. Lunch menu is $10 but tastes like $15-20! "

  • "I went there to have a quick bite and a drink while enjoying the views from the patio. Instead, we sat at the bar (we still had a great view of the skyline) where we had cocktails, appetizers, and entrees that were all so delicious that I've already planned my next visit. I can't wait to go back!"

  • "We started with appetizers : spare ribs, chickenand shrimp dumplings and chicken satay... All was delicious! Drinks: Black mojito and Mai Tai... Good but not great. Our dinner consisted of fried rice, shrimp, shrimp and calamari entree and curry chicken and shrimp noodle. We decided to try some of the desserts as well. We had the fried banana and coconut ice cream and fried ice cream. We enjoyed ourselves so much we decided to go outside and enjoy the view of the city. The weather was so pleasant we ended up being there until they closed... Yess they had to put us out with another large party that was outside. "

  • "I loved the food the first time I dined at Tuk Tuk. I suggested the restaurant to a friend who had not been to Tuk Tuk, and the restaurant did not disappoint us. The food was delicious, and the service was warm and friendly. We did not have to wait long for our food, even though there were many customers there to eat. It seemed as though we had plenty to eat, including desserts, and the final bill was great. We give it two thumbs up."

  • "From the friendly, prompt service to the delicious, flavorful food (what a delightful gluten-free menu!), our Tuk Tuk experience was memorable in every way. The ambiance is glorious, and the Thai authenticity is legit! We are already looking forward to our next opportunity to visit..."

  • "Our first visit to Tuk Tuk was a very pleasant surprise. The food was excellent and priced at a level that represented excellent value. Service was attentive. The only thing that detracted from an otherwise very enjoyable experience was that the actual time to bring the food to the table was painfully slow. I would like to believe that this was because our visit was on the Monday evening of a holiday weekend and that the restaurant was understaffed."
