Not only do I enjoy going to Tsunami for dinner, but I also go there for lunch a couple of times a month and have always enjoyed myself. The food was very fresh and delicious! We sat at the bar and had a great time. Service was great, food was great (even the Metropolitan roll was back to it's wonderfully crunchy interior and BOTH sauces were included, thank god!).... It has a mostly "hipster" vibe but I think I'd go back (or order out at least) because the food was good. The sushi we ordered (spicy tuna and California roll) were mediocre. The tuna roll had the "spice" added just on the top, making it hard to eat since it was all in one area.
Service was fantastic, and the people were very on top of getting us more water, seating us and making sure everything was what we wanted.4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat sushi in a great little town!We went on a newly married date night here, and used a groupon. The sushi was great, and very decently priced! We left stuffed. It was packed, so it was extremely loud, however they played oldies (Late 50's - 70's) the whole evening which we thoroughly enjoyed! It made us wish they had a dance floor. Although it was packed, our waiter did his best to continually frequent out table and keep us happy. He gave us great help when ordering, and was super friendly! We went to Tsunami to celebrate my wife's birthday with my son and daughter-in-law, and we thoroughly enjoyed it, from the appetizers of Ahi tuna and Etamame, to the cocoanut fish soup, to the various main courses and sushi that my son and his wife ordered. We even had a wonderful dessert of Creme brulee! The service was wonderful and all was simply great. Ordered the Tsunami wedge - fresh and tasty. Ordered several sushis rolls - all were first rate. The Pepper Seared Beef Tenderloin was to die for. It was our waiters recommended dish.
