The shrimp appetizer was delicious, the olive appetizer was nothing special. I had the swordfish with melon salad special. The swordfish was dry and not seasoned at all. The salad was just OK. My husbands salad with black grouper did not impress him either. The fish was overcooked and the salad was boring. One guest had the black grouper with risotto, which she said was delicious. Most of their seating is in an outdoor courtyard which is lovely. Luckily, it was a gorgeous evening. In general the menu has some hits and some misses. They have a very extensive wine and beer menu. Intersting menu not just the usual stuff gotta give credit there. Plenty of fancy beers. Nice outdoor patio but wish there weren't so many smokers out there - I would go more often. Had the Penne with meat sauce which was outstanding and wife had the sausage of the day also great. Tried two other things which we didn't like and they took them back gladly. Will definitely visit again.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMexcellent oudoor ambianceI wanted to go to Tyrst for a long time because I've read great reviews about their fish tacos and finally I made a reservation and got there early on a Wednesday evening for dinner.I highly recommend the fish tacos for a first timer at this place. I also had the watermelon salad, very refreshing and healthy(spinach, pine nuts). The iceberg salad it's also delicious. We were a group of 6. Our waiter Matt was delightful. Very helpful and concerned that we were all very satisfied. Three of us ordered fish tacos. Matt said they were not spicey.When I tasted mine, they were very spicey. Matt immeditely wanted to take it back. At first I said no, Then the manager came over and insisted that he make it the way I wanted it. I agreed and they were perfect. The menu is unique and all the ingredients are freshly grown.
