  • "Looking on line I found the GF menu and with some searching was handed one at the restaurant. Our waiter was not knowledgable about the menu and told me the chef couldn't guarantee that there wasn't cross cantamination. Understandable, then don't promote your GF options. The stone crabs were not fresh and there was no mention of them being frozen. The asparagus was clearly steamed in the microwave and barely cooked, we sent it back and it returned the same. The restaurant was lovely and we anticipated a better meal than we were served."

  • "We had a wonderful time! Crab claws were the best! The chocolate bag for dessert was amazing! Our server, Monica was outstanding! She was attentive yet discreet! I will go back for sure next time we are Miami, and I will recommend rhis restaurant to anyone who would like to experience a fabulous meal with all of the trimmings!!! Cost is well worth it!"

  • "It was my wife's birthday and for weeks she had been saying she wanted to eat Stone Crabs.I took her to Trulucks for dinner.She ordered the stone crab meal that bring you 5 large claws plus 2 sides. I will be very honest, I was not impress with the size of the claws and what they call "large".These claws although very fresh and tasty where not what I consider large. I can get these same size claws at my local fish market by the pound.I made a comment to our waitress Katrina that by the way was excellent. Very knowledgeable, courteous, on top of all our needs. What an honor it was to be waited on by her. Katrina mentioned my concern to her manager William that came to our table an and apologize. This is very important and shows true value."

  • "I took my husband here for his Birthday. I love the romantic dim lighting in this restaurant. The food was AMAZING. I had the Salmon top with a creamy Crab & Shrimp sauce with a side of mashed potatoes. My Husband had the chicken....this was by far the best chicken entree we've had at a restaurant. The service was warm welcoming our waitress was very professional. Truluck's is a top of the line restaurant... Our bill was only about $75. Food and ice tea was our drink of choice."

  • "The food was very good and our server, Kristin, was great. The only complaint we all had was that the music that played when the "live" music took a break, was very loud. It was also a lot of disco, which seemed very out of place for an elegant, high-end dining experience. It felt more like a "bar" than an elegant restaurant, which was more what we were looking for."

  • "My husband and I flew into Miami for one night only. It was his birthday, and the hotel concierge recommended Trulucks! The next morning we were leaving on a cruise to celebrate our 30 year wedding anniversary. It was the perfect night, and Trulucks was the perfect place to begin our week. The dinner, drinks and service were fabulous! I definitely recommend Trulucks!"

  • "Yes -- Coming from Ohio where Stone Crabs are not in abundance...I could not wait to enjoy these succulent crustaceans and enjoy them I did! Only issue they were cracked too much and, therefore, you had to be careful not to break a tooth. Still worth it picking out the little pieces. The reason for the 4 rating. The sea bass was an excellent choice as my husband advices.. Either meal is a good bet. As far as ambiance, beautiful restaurant..music piped in was a bit overbearing."

  • "We have been at Trulucks in Houston several times and have always been very satisfied. In Miami, we were a little disappointed. The glass of sine we ordered was a little acid; the replacement was very good. We ordered a steak; the first time it was overcooked and the second time it was too rare. We were not charges for the steak. Hopefuly, it will be a great experience the next time we visit."

  • "Took the family of four for dinner on our 28 wedding anniversary. Was looking forward to the All You Can Eat , Stone Crab on Monday nights. The service was great. Did not have to wait to be seated upon arrival. The food was great. However, I found the price for the Stone Crab special to be a little over priced at $99.00 per person. I liked it better when it was $79.00 per person. Finally, I found the restaurant to be a little loud. Hard to hear what our server was saying and we weren't even seated close to the bar. Don't see myself coming back if not for the Stone Crab special."

  • "I love this restaurant, but I was disappointed to be seated next to the service station when the place was less than half full. This did not distract from the excellent food but I was horrified when a wait staff placed dirty glasses on a ledge behind the booth seat where my boss was sitting. This is not a place for dishes! Thank goodness my boss couldn't see going on this behind her!!"

What a wonderful experience that we hope to repeat again soon. We travel the world, dine at many fine restaurants......Trulucks Miami gets top billing. Great selection of appetizers, interesting entrees...properly served and with terrific presentation, great wine list, etc. etc. Highly recommended."

Waiter seemed in a rush, I went to ask his his opinion on wines by the glass since I was unfamiliar and he took off, didn't even notice I was needing assistance. Grossly overpriced. Would not plan to return soon."

  • "I went here while in town for a conference and took clients. Our waiter was exceptional and everyone raved about the food. I had what was listed as an appetizer for two. It had 2 large shrimp, 2 oysters, 2 stone crab claws and a pile of crabmeat. I was stuffed. Others had the sea bass ( each done differently) and the stone crab. I would definitely return."

  • "This was surprisingly our first visit ! Ambience, service and food seriously excellent.My husband and I , after each having a most memorable crab cake,shared the blackened grouper with shrimp, blue crab and prawns in a creole sauce that was a symphony of flavours . The waiter brought us the main course already divided and plated which was nice as well. No way I could have handled dessert so I asked for the four layer chocolate cake with malted chocolate frosting, to go. Our waiter, Brandon, who with a big smile, was attentive, accommodating and smart but knew when to be there and when to disappear, brought it to me, beautifully packaged with a container of chocolate sauce on the side!! I have been eating it over the past two days!!"

  • "We chose Trulucks at the last minute to celebrate my 40th bday with a romatic dinner. Trulucks truly surpassed our expectations. This has to be one of the better quality meals we have had in a long time. We frequent many high end restaurants and sometimes they forget the food is the star attraction, well not here. I had the best crab cake, shrimp cocktail was excellent as well, and the star the australian lobster tail. After a great meal came an amazing dessert you must try the chocolate bag!"

  • "It was our first time. We came in early to enjoy the bar before dinner. The ceviche was delicious, but complex. A lot of flavors. Our bartenders Sarah and Victor made two tasty martinis, well-balanced and neat - no sloppy wet glasses or wet table. Once we got to dinner, we had the goat cheese appetizer. The salty kalamata olives were smoothed over with the creamy cheese. I had the trout almondine, absolutely exquisite for that dish. Not too fancy or pretentious, just tasty, perfectly crusted, not oily, and the fish was flaky. My date had the sesame seared tuna that melted in your mouth. We decided on the David Bruce pinot just because. It was perfect. Nancy and Christian were our servers and they were wonderful."
