It wasn't loud but the traffic in and out of the restaurant was a little distracting. The table was a good distance away. That's just the breaks of getting seated. Food and service was excellent as always. The Poblano Pepper soup didn't disappoint. Truluck's put us at a nice table, had a wonderful lunch, and they surprised the birthday girls with special desserts prepared by the chef. We all had a

Nice house salad to start, with carefully selected greens. Between the 4 of us we sampled the small filet, tuna and a scallop special, plus the schezuan green beans and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious and we finisehd with the chocolate bag filled with berries, cream and pound cake. It was a very generous size and just right for 4 people. From the minute we walked in the front door we were greeted by name & the hostess acknowledged that it was our 1st visit. She was gracious & helpful in telling us that Happy Hour was still going on in the bar & that information saved us 25% on a good bottle of wine. The food was very good & well presented. Try the Crab Cake as it was grilled & quite good. The Carrot Cake is enough for 4 or more people & it is excellent.3/10/2013 12:00:00 AM
