"Great food, impeccable service, and a dessert menu that has to be the best in town. We persistantly try other 4 and 5 star eateries, but have yet to find anyplace as reliably outstanding as Trulucks. Tip: reading the menu can be a challenge due to the low lighting in the dining area. Some of the wait staff actually carry smaill flashlights for guest use. If you occasionally or regularly need readers, be sure to bring them. For years, we've suggested the hostess have them available, to no avail."

"The service was fantastic, however, the food which is always superb was not that good.
My filet was well done (I ordered medium) they asked if it was cooked to my liking but I didn't have time to have them re-cook the steak. My wife's salmon was uneventful, nothing like its been before and our friend from Dallas had the fish special and it was also very bland."

"We have had wonderful meals in the past at Truluck's, but this time it wasn't so great. My wife's steak was way overdone, and the second one was rushed and was tough. My steak was good but not great. Guess, we should stick to the seafood, which has always been outstanding. I still love the place for its this reason, as well as its awesome happy hour and wonderful service."

"The clientele was depressing. With my wife in an evening gown and myself in a handmade suit, our eyes were drawn to patrons dressed in t-shirts and jeans. Our server greeted us and was very polite, placed our drink orders, and disappeared for 20 minutes, only to return to display a platter of plastic shellfish, and disappear again for another 10 minutes. All the while, we were eagerly waiting for him to ask us if we'd like to order an appetizer. We asked him for the check, and he immediately reported our intent to leave to his manager. The manager visited our table and we let him know that we were going to the Truluck's downtown. He insisted that we stay and comped a glass of wine and an appetizer from our bill. We were very satisfied."

"Trulucks continues to impress me. They not only have the best seafood around, but I tried their steak, and they do that as well as seafood. The service was not just good but spectacular. We are on a tight budget these days but once we get our income level back, we will be visiting more often. We love you guys. Keep up the great work."
