However this could be part of the area as we have noticed that most of the restaurants have very slow service. Most meals take an hour and a half even with reservations. My husband had shrimp liguini with brie. He was not thrilled with the pasta and left most of it. I think the shrimp was ver good but somehow the brie just didn't work and gave the dish a weird taste. I had the caesar salad with grilled shrimp which was good-the shrimp was tasty altho slightly overdone andiguess the romaine was somwhat more wilted from the dressing than I am used to expecting, but I ate it all. This time thibgs were much better though again the hostess couldn't
find our reservation an suggested we may have made the reservation at another Truffles location. Fortunately, another host had seen our reservation earlier and corrected her.
The mahi mahi was fantastic and the service after the initial
glitch was wonderful. Server was attentive but not intrusive and the manager I presume stopped by to apologize for the reservation hiccup.

Our order consisted of Coconut Shrimp, barbecue ribs, shoestring fries, apple cole slaw, ribeye steak, risotto, sautéed spinach, and key lime pie. All the food was very good, and I would consider the pie and ribs to be among the best we have eaten. The steak was somewhat disappointing in that it was very tough and difficult to eat and chew. The steak was cooked properly, and had a good taste. So, it must be the quality of the meat.. We are accustomed to a much more tender cut of Ribeye which has been adequately tenderized and seasoned. Had to ask about refilling drinks, appetizer took 45 min to come out. "Kitchen mistake". In most restaurants I dine they would be free. Also my wife requested candles on dessert and he forgot.
