"We celebrated our wedding anniversary and couldn't have been more pleased. The hostess made us feel welcome the minute we walked in and added to the enjoyment by knowing it was our anniversary. Jeannine, our server, was incredible! She too, acknowledged our special day as soon as she came to our table. She did a wonderful job describing the menu and answered any question we had. Everything from the wine to the appetizer to the main course was amazing! It was truly a great experience and my wife and I are already looking forward to our next visit to The Truffle Pig!"

"We were here for lunch, the best grilled cheese/tomato soup combo ever, and back for dinner the next day. The staff was helpful and curteous, and the waiter seemed knowledgable and made great suggestions. The chef is creative, the food delicious and varried. There are exotic dishes as well as a fabulous burger. The cod fish was cooked perfectly in a broth/sauce that was chunky and perfectly prepared. The flatbread was large and tasty. And don't miss the truffle fries!"

"second time the same waiter tried to up sale wine. i own more than 2000 bottles, don't need some clown tring tp sale me what i don't want. manager's comment to our compliant was" ...he is our best up saler.." two of our four meals were sent back and taken off the bill. not going back which is too bad because it use to be a good restraurant."

"The Truffle Pig was a great surprise for Steamboat, great food, great wine list, and staff. Let's not forget the back deck where they have happy hour with great food and drinks for after skiing. we went to the outside. What can I say it's great place and everyone should go! I will guarantee they will not be disappointed."

"Went there for a couple of items on the menu - that they were out of, most notably truffles. Noise level at our table was very loud with the speaker right above our table. The food we did have was quite good and the outdoor apres ski patio looked like a lot of fun."

"Although we had a reservation for the main dining room, they opted to seat us in the bar, which really detracted from the experience. When the entrees are in the $30-40 range, it would be nice to have ambiance that matched. The starters (calamari and squash soup) were both delicious. The entrees were a not of consistent quality. The scallops were delicious and interesting. The bucatini with meatball and pizza margarita seemed to use the same sauce, which was a bit disappointing. Both were overdressed with the sauce. Overall, it was good, but overpriced based on our experience."

"The food was not worth the $$$. We dine out frequently and the food was very blah. Very little flavor. To make my dish better I had to add pepper and salt. If that doesn't say bland I don't know what does."

"My husband and I ate at Truffle Pig twice during our ski vacation. We had dinner there on Valentine's Day which was outstanding. The calamari is great. I had the scallops which was very good...I definitely would order it again. My husband had the pork dish which he enjoyed and we shared some truffle fries. For dessert we had profiteroles and my husband had the ice cream and cookies. I cannot complain about one thing we had. The food was outstanding, the service was great. Wish this restaurant wasn't three and a half hours by plane from my house! Lunch on our last day in Steamboat was a Fish sandwich-so very good and more truffle fries! We will definitely return to Truffle Pig again if we ever make it back to Steamboat!"
