Troya ClementFood was fantastic, but mostlyFood was fantastic, but mostly ordered small plate so cannot speak for main dishes. Lamb kebabs were by far the best dish we had. Pita and dips are great as well.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMStellar Turkish DelightsSome of the most well prepared food, served in an upscale casual and cozy setting. Staff is unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable. The hummus is incredible, as are any of the mezes; all are a sure thing. The wine list is fine, but made better by the recommendations of the staff. The lamb is simply outstanding, and this is from someone who normally doesn't care for lamb!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMSimple unvarying healthy deliciousSimple unvarying healthy delicious mediterranean/Turkish menu (eggplant salad is the best), totally unpretentious, short wine list, no "specials", excellent prices, quick friendly service. We've been going there for years and wondered why no-one else much went - we wondered how they would survive. But in the past year, although nothing changed, it's been jammed in the evenings, have to book early, but nothing has changed!4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways a winner. Have neverAlways a winner. Have never had a bad experience here. The only thing is, the menu never changes. They would do well to offer one or 2 specials from time to time. And, it would be nice to offer a vegetarian kebab - tofu and grilled veggies maybe? However, what they DO serve is great.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is a great place to meetThis is a great place to meet friends! The Mezes are to die for! Definitely would recommend the place!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMYou will be able to find cheaperYou will be able to find cheaper Turkish food in the city, but the attentive service and thoughtfully created plates are worth the price it you want to splurge.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways wonderful. We haveAlways wonderful. We have dined here several times and always enjoy the service and food.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious food, wonderful serviceWe walked into Troya on a Saturday evening, and warmly greeted at the front door. We were promptly taken to our table. I liked the casual, modern look of the restaurant. It was moderately crowded at 6:30pm, but by the time our entrees arrived, the place was packed! Clearly, this is a popular restaurant. Our servers were friendly and attentive, and the timing between our appetizers, entrees, and dessert was perfect. I ordered the vegetarian moussaka, while my husband ordered the lamb kebabs. My husband said that these were the most flavorful kebabs. We shared dessert, which was called Nightingale's Nest Baklava. It is a winner -- not too sweet, and satisfying. I enjoyed this restaurant and would like to come back.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMAn excellent, quiet, restfulAn excellent, quiet, restful dining experience with interesting, delicious food and helpful but unobtrusive service.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMdelicious food and great fordelicious food and great for small groups and sharing.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMBig Fan of TroyaI am a big fan of Troya. The food is delicious, the servers are fantastic, prices are reasonable and the restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere. It is one of the restaurants that makes San Francisco such a great eating experience. No celebrity TV chef required, just go to a neighborhood restaurant and eat great food.3/8/2013 12:00:00 AM
