  • "we have been here a few times and it was an amazing experience however even with reservations the 1st course took 45 min and it was not right. each course took long, the 1st 2 wine pairings were excellent but the next 2 were soso. we didn't finish the 4th course since we were turned off from waiting and the experience we were having . other than a simple sorry all we got was the bill. overall disappointed as we had better experiences previously. maybe this is a one off."

  • "We always go somewhere special on our wedding anniversary and Trius certainly fits the bill .From the moment we arrived until we left we felt that we were amongst people who cared about our enjoyment of the experience. We both chose items from the extensive A La Carte menu plus the matching wines. The food was well presented and tasted as good as it looked. The wines for the most part paired well, and when we said that we did not like a particular wine it was changed immediately."

This seems trivial to mention given how everything else was spot-on. And best of all, we had the whole dining room to ourselves! It was a quiet night at Trius but we were treated like royalty."

  • "We went on a Sunday night and it was quiet, 4 tables? We all had the tasting menu. The parsnip soup was OK. The 12 hour chicken wing was a knock off of a Chinese banquet crab claw and not particular tasty. The open ravioli was OK again and the chef forgot my foie gras. The rib eye was a disaster, it was too dry and overcooked, and the two ladies had difficulty eating them, Service was impeccable, the waitress was kind enough to split the 2 wine pairing for the four of us so the couples don't have to share a glass. May be it's a quiet night and the major chef went home, but apart from the poor steak, the menu was gimmicky and lacked sophistication (which they normally do)....or was it because they offered a $25.- discount????"

  • "By far this was the best restaurant among all of the Fabulicious restaurants! The food was great. Unlike Peller Estate, Trius did NOT do a lower version of what they usually serve in term of portion size and creativity. As a matter of fact, they used the same menu as their usual prix fixe menu before Fabulicious. It was just a great over all experience and wowed me in every judging criteria I would have looked at in a prix fixe menu. If this was Winterlicious, I would have happily paid $45 and still find Trius to be comparable to some of the top Toronto restaurants like North 44, Stock, or Canoe. GREAT JOB to the chefs and people who worked at Trius! I look forward to the next Fabulicious and for sure will make another reservation."

  • "Great combination of food, wines and atmosphere. One of the best wineries for a complete experience. The decor inside and outside is a perfect fit for an evening of fine dining or an elegant lunch on overlooking the vineyards. Interesting menu choices tastefully presented and wonderfully flavoured. We even delayed our meal just to have an extra helping of their red wine butter on toast. Good selection of starters and mains. Desserts were Inevitably ice wine infused-always a nice finish."

The service and the attention to detail was also excellent. I liked how the servers and maitre d' were so efficient without being stuffy and pretentious... that made for a very warm and friendly atmosphere. Really lovely place to eat as a couple, or with friends and/ family."

We tried foods that we normally wouldn't have ordered and were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed some exotic foods. Presentation was only outdone by the incredible flavours of each course! The attention to detail and the high quality ingredients made this an exceptional dining experience. In addition, our server's wine recommendations were perfectly paired with each dish. I left completely satisfied as all the flavours my taste buds had experienced lingered on my palate. We bought the wines we had at dinner. I aspire to recreate such deliciously perfect taste sensations at home. I would love to come back for a party and dine in the cellar or enjoy a dinner al fresco one summer evening. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

  • "My husband and I took a chance and decided to partake in the 5 course "Winter Blues" wine pairings dinner at Trius and I will say it was worth every single penny spent. We were treated to 5 amazing creations and just about had to roll ourselves out of the building we were so full! The wine pairings worked perfectly with every course and there was not one bite we didn't completely savor. The staff were warm and friendly while also greatly informative about the wines, courses and the winery itself. We cannot wait to go back in the spring to try the new menus and tastings. I more than highly recommend this experience, you will not regret it!"

  • "Trius has a friendly professional staff who greeted us with a glass of complimentary bubbly to celebrate my husband's birthday lunch. The food was quire good although among the most expensive in the area. We were asked if we would like "still" or " fizzy" water. We got both. I expected to pay for the "mineral" water but was shocked to see that we paid also for the other water. We had $9.50 charges for water!!! This is a special occasion restaurant. Be prepared it is expensive and say "no thank you" to the offer of water. I would recommend an outside table in the good weather looking over the vineyard for lunch"
