  • "Shrimp george needed more lemon sauce it was quite dry and flavorless. The shrimp with creole grits was tasty. "

  • "Ate a late lunch here last week and food was excellent. My wife had the Halibut Special and I had the Shrimp Scampi. Both dishes were wonderful and the service very good. Felt like Old Time Vegas with very private booths. Nice hidden spot away from the hustle and bustle of Freemont Street!!"

  • "Food was outstanding! We had the veal scaloppini and the blackened salmon and both were delicious. Dowtown wings also very good as an appetizer."

  • "Triple George Grill is close to the Fremont St. experience; has valet parking across the street and good food. The staff is attentive but not "all over you". A good spot to dine before an evening at The Smith Center"

  • "I have been going to Vegas for years and have eaten at just about every steak house in town and most of them have been very good. This place has a wide selection of food items other than steaks. The service was attentive but not over bearing. We drank a bottle of wine and enjoyed the calamari and had a great visit before dinner. No rush here. The décor reminded me some very upscale haunts in San Francisco and New York that we have visited. I could go on and on but suffice it to say it is worth seeking out the next time you are in Las Vegas."

  • "I have dined at Triple George many times. The food is consistently good and the service is usually quite good although a couple of times we have had to wait quite a while for our food. The booths are nice but the other room can get noisy. I've taken many associates from out of town to Triple George and they have always enjoyed the food. One associate from out of town requests to have lunch there every time he is in town."

  • "Enjoyed Triple George for the first time. Had dinner before attending world premier of The Tempest at Smith Center. Had the best cioppino I've ever had. My partner had a wonderful sword fish in a gourmet sauce. We split an ample salad. The menu consists of a wide variety of choices from vegan to pork chops. There's definitely something for every taste. TG will be our pre theater choice from now on!"

  • "The food was excellent and not overpriced. The service was top notch. Las Vegas has lost its roots when it comes to service & ambience. This place is "real" on the great places to eat scale."

  • "Very good experience - brought 5 adults with us who had never been to TG. You now have more, younger, clients. The meal and service where excellent."

  • "Always consistant and reliable. Great for taking out of town visitors. No kids menu but they will whip up a mac & cheese or grilled cheese."

  • "My first time here....food was great as well as the service!"

  • "I have eaten at Triple George on several occasions for lunch, but this was my first dinner experience. The oysters were great, the calamari was mediocore at best. The Ahi salad was "meh". The pork chop was reportedly very good - he loved the apple glaze. Several other entrees were considered "OK". Once our server found out no one was drinking alcohol the level of attention went way down. Not good. So in summary, not a bad lunch spot - really good sandwiches, fries, etc. but I can't recommend Triple George for dinner."

  • "Love Triple George. The only negative is there is heating or air conditioning on the roof above the booths. Never noticed it before, but my sister, with sensitive ears, had to put in ear plugs. Actually, I could hear the low sound rumbling. Waitress indicated some people hear, some people don't; and metal roof seems to bring out the worst for people sitting in the booths. Next time I will bring guests and sit in the side bar dining room. Best shrimp cocktail in town!"

  • "Met a friend here for dinner, and since I arrived early I sat at the bar for awhile. Bar is HUGE and right inside the entrance, but it's quite comfortable. It was a bit too chilly to sit outside, but the small outdoor seating area looked cozy. Dining area has an upscale look and feel. Food was excellent! I would definitely return!"

  • "Mrs and I had heard great things about the food so we were eager to experience the dining. We especially enjoy happy hours for the value and apps. We ordered three apps and the chicken wings arrived quickly...yummy! We waited a while after devouring the wings but ???? so we asked Eddie to check on our order. It appeared that our waitress did not take our order??? The two other apps appeared and we were taken aback at the huge portions of each and that did not leave much room for the one entrée that we wanted to try....chic pot pie. Oh well! Maybe on our next trip to las Vegas."

  • "As always the Triple George exceeds my expectations. The French Onion soup is the best in town. The pride themselves on their steaks yet of the eight different entrees I have sampled I am yet to find one I wouldn't order again."

  • "Our first time at the Triple George and we loved everything about it!! Great food, ambiance, and service. Price was right. Nice knowing that we don't have to go into a casino to find a great restaurant and/or have the same-old/same-old at chain restaurants. This will definitely be our go-to restaurant on a regular basis."

  • "If you haven't been to downtown Las Vegas, next time visit. Years ago they closed Fremont St. to traffic and made a pedestrian walk and covered the entire street for blocks with lighted, moving mural on the ceiling. And the crowds like what's there. Musicians playing at every nook and cranny, A couple of large amphitheaters with either a DJ playing or a band. And artists painting at various locations. A sight to see and be. Food locations are abundant either at the hotels, Golden Nugget, Binions, Plaza and others or at independents, like Triple George Grill. Walk in and you'd think it's been there since the late 20's or 30's. Comfortable seating, good food and acceptable service. And right in the middle of all the action."

  • "This is the second time we've eaten at Triple George Grill during our family reunions in Vegas. It's a perfect place for special group occasions or just stopping in for a drink. There were 8 of us and ... we had a child with us this time. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate our three year old's wish list. When everything on the menu is really tasty and well-prepared, you know it's a good restaurant. We had a great time and have more good memories. Thanks to the staff, Becky and of course the chef!"

  • "Service prompt and friendly. The portions are large so you will not leave hungry! Good wine choices. I had the porkchop and it had amazing flavor and so tender. The chopped salad is a favorite, zesty house dressing. We started with the shrimp cocktail and they were cooked . Love the restaurant!"

  • "A great respite from the Vegas Strip....a truly classic bar and steakhouse. Great service...bar staff and wait staff are outstanding. Food is excellent and a great value. A vibrant bar scene, but get a table in one go the high walled booths for a romantic experience. As a new comer to Vegas, this is one of my favorite new restaurants.....Consistently great."

  • "Downtown Las Vegas is not known for its excellent restaurants, however, Triple George Grill is a great alternative in the area. It has a modern décor, a large bar and serves pretty tasty American fare. There were five diners in our party with meals ranging from the bone-in rib-eye to the chicken pot pie. All meals were good with the bone-in rib-eye earning the top rating."

  • "Steaks not prepared as requested. Found it strange that alcoholic drinks ordered over the rocks are charged $2.50 for the ice cubes!"

  • "I had heard good things about Triple George, but my expectations were not met. We were going to be sat next to the kitchen/service station, which is unpleasant in all aspects. Atmosphere was fine, a little noisy and somewhat hard to have a conversation. The service was also disappointing; our waiter took too much time just to take our drink order - I had to go looking for him. While the food was very good, the negative factors outweighed my desire to return."

  • "A trip to Downtown must always include dinner at the Triple George Grill. The food is always superb, and Ryan was a great waiter. We always felt important, not just another guest. That is the beauty of Triple George. You are the most important person to your waiter, your barman, your food server, the manager. My wife had the Sole and loved it. I had the Patagonia Toothfish, otherwise known as Chilean Sea Bass (though I don't know why, it is a cold water fish from sub-antarctic waters. It does not come from Chile, nor is it of the genus Paralabrax.), it was broiled to perfection, with an excellent sweet/salty sauce. We finished with a shared creme brulee and decaf, a fitting end to a great night out."

  • "We came here looking for a steakhouse in the Fremont area and were pleasantly surprised by this quiet gem. Service was prompt abd accommodating to our group of six that wanted to split the bill. Portions were large and we loved all the options."
