Trio Restaurant - CharlotteLove this place! It's one of my most favorite restaurants in all of Charlotte. They are excellent for groups as large as 40 and the food is amazing. I always book here for weeknights when business associates are in town.6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMA Great RestaurantVisited Trio this weekend and the food was great. Had the homemade potato chips with the ranch dressing mixed with Sriracha sauce. Very good. I ordered the Lobster Ravioli, which includes garlic shrimp, roasted mushrooms, fresh spinach in a sun-dried tomato cream sauce. It was fantastic. My guest ordered the Herb Crusted Stuffed Chicken Breast, which was also very good.
Every visit to Trio should end with a dessert. We split an Almond Basket -- an almond sesame basket filled with mocha pecan ice cream and fresh strawberries over crème anglaise. Always delicious!
Trio isn't new, but it's still one of the best restaurants in South Charlotte.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMConsistently goodThis isn't off the scale gourmet...solid, good comfort, easy no fuss.
